Chapter 26 - Chapter 106: Have You Seen Enough Yet?

Zhao Ling and Ah Yin's carriage departure was clearly seen by Bo Saixi, who also witnessed Bibi Dong returning to Spirit Hall. Fearing she might lose track of Zhao Ling and Ah Yin, Bo Saixi leapt straight from the window ledge without hesitation.

As everyone knows, before the Sun-Moon Continent merged with the Douluo Continent and before the laws of heaven and earth changed, only Title Douluo-level powerhouses or soul masters with flying-type soul beasts could fly.

For Bo Saixi, who was a Level 99 powerhouse, flying was easy. However, not wanting to draw too much attention, she simply glided and landed lightly atop Zhao Ling and Ah Yin's carriage.

She wasn't worried about exposing her identity to Zhao Ling. On the contrary, she hoped he would recognize her—so that he'd write more in his diary about her and Tang Chen.Maybe, just maybe, Zhao Ling would one day reveal Tang Chen's whereabouts in that diary.

Inside the carriage, Zhao Ling heard a noise above and curiously poked his head out the window, glancing upward—only to spot a pair of long, slender, sexy legs. Following the view upward, he instantly caught a glimpse under the woman's skirt.

WTF?!Why is there a woman on the roof of the carriage?! Zhao Ling was utterly confused by the bizarre scene.

At the same time, the driver sensed something was wrong and looked up.

Bo Saixi, seeing this, hurriedly clutched her skirt tighter and shot the driver a cold glare.

"What are you looking at? Look again, and I'll gouge your eyes out."

The driver quickly turned his head back, his mind full of questions.Who even was this woman? Why had she jumped onto his carriage? And why was she even fiercer than him?

Bo Saixi, after fiercely glaring at the driver, turned her gaze toward Zhao Ling's clear, wide eyes peeking from the window.

In that moment, all her irritation vanished. A strange emotion surged in her heart, which she forcibly suppressed before coldly asking,"Have you seen enough? Is it that pretty?"

Zhao Ling, stunned by the beauty on the roof, immediately recognized her. After all, she had appeared in Spirit Hall on the day he got engaged to Bibi Dong and Ah Yin.

He quickly pulled his head back into the carriage, his expression noticeably strange—something Ah Yin instantly picked up on.

"Honey, who's that on the roof?" she asked.

Before Zhao Ling could reply, Ah Yin couldn't help poking her own head out and glancing up. As soon as her eyes met Bo Saixi's, she smiled warmly.

Heh, over the past few days, both she and Dong'er had stayed inside Spirit Hall. She had assumed this beauty had already left. She hadn't expected Bo Saixi to have been lurking outside this entire time.

Looks like this lady was fated to be her comrade-in-arms someday. With that thought, Ah Yin's smile grew even more radiant—so radiant it gave Bo Saixi chills. Something about this girl felt… off.

In a gentle tone, Ah Yin spoke to Bo Saixi:"Elder sister, are you out of money for a carriage? Why not ride with us?"

Bo Saixi looked into Ah Yin's sincere eyes. She realized that standing atop the carriage was indeed drawing attention. So, she nodded and slipped through the front curtain into the carriage, sitting beside Ah Yin.

But when she looked over at Zhao Ling, who had a vacant, spaced-out expression, she couldn't help but feel a little awkward.

Ah Yin, noticing his expression, instantly knew what was up: he was ranting in his diary again.

Sure enough, Zhao Ling had summoned his diary interface and was mid-rant:

What the hell is going on? Is Bo Saixi insane?First she runs from Sea God Island to the Douluo Continent looking for Tang Chen—fine. But now she's hopping onto my and Ah Yin's carriage?Don't tell me she's out of gold soul coins and hitching a ride?No way. With her status—the High Priestess of Sea God Island, Sea God's agent on Douluo—anyone who believes she's broke is an idiot.Hmm... Could it be she fell for me? Maybe she wants to travel the continent with me because I'm handsome?Ugh, that sounds like such a delusional guy thought.Ew, better clear that nonsense out of my head. If I think like this too much, I'll never get a girlfriend. She's probably just leaving Spirit City to search elsewhere for Tang Chen. She just happened to jump on our carriage by chance.Heh... she probably has no idea the very carriage she landed on happens to carry someone who knows exactly where Tang Chen is.But I'm not telling her—LOL...

After finishing his rant, Zhao Ling tapped the "Upload" button on the diary. In return, he received the Tang Sect's secret manual, the Xuan Tian Treasure Record ("玄天宝录"), along with a prompt allowing him to instantly max out three techniques of his choice from the manual.

Zhao Ling fell into deep thought. He could instantly max out only three—he'd need to train the rest manually. He had to choose wisely.

For him, the most useful were:

Mysterious Jade Hand (玄玉手)

Purple Demon Eye (紫极魔瞳)

Hidden Weapon Technique + Encyclopedia of Hidden Weapons (暗器使用法与百解)

As for Xuan Tian Skill, Controlling Crane Capturing Dragon, and Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track, Zhao Ling considered them less useful—especially the last two, which he found pretty underwhelming.

After making his selections, a golden stream of light shot from the diary interface and into his mind.

Instantly, Zhao Ling felt his head fill with new memories. His eyes turned completely purple, granting him vast observational abilities and the power to see through all illusions.

His hands also turned a jade-white color, enabling him to touch even the most toxic of Tang Sect hidden weapons without harm. He was quite satisfied.

While Zhao Ling digested the newly downloaded knowledge, both Ah Yin and Bo Saixi saw their own copies of the "Zhao Ling Diary: Personal Edition" appear before them.

Ah Yin knew her personal diary copy was only visible to her, so she opened it without hesitation and began reading its contents.

Meanwhile, Bo Saixi felt a bit awkward. This phantom "Zhao Ling Diary: Personal Edition" had appeared right in front of her. If the other two saw it, wouldn't they start questioning her?

But she soon realized something strange: neither Zhao Ling nor Ah Yin seemed to notice the diary floating in front of her.

Are they blind? This thing is huge and right in front of me!

Bo Saixi tried flipping through it with her mind. A pleasant, magnetic voice narrated its contents directly into her ears—yet the other two remained completely oblivious.

Could it be…?

Bo Saixi finally realized:This diary was visible only to her—at least, the one she possessed was only for her eyes.
