Chapter 209 - Chapter 209: Interstellar Era

In an instant, the entire space formation seemed to come alive and underwent tremendous changes.

On Earth, all awake people witnessed a strange sight: a huge mirror suddenly appeared in the sky, and the moon seemed to be brought closer, becoming extremely large. In some places, space suddenly resembled broken glass, layer upon layer. However, this change only lasted for a few seconds before everything returned to normal.

Jason's space formation had finally completed its final evolution. It had "come alive."

Through Jason's spiritual eyes, the entire space formation transformed from its original spherical shape into something resembling tentacles. These tentacles extended to all the major planets in the solar system. As long as Jason willed it, he could teleport between them. Humanity had finally entered the interstellar age.

As he announced this to the world, all countries began to gear up and prepare for interstellar migration. The space array could freely form closed environments—by using this ability, people could build houses, cities, and even create atmospheres!

In the large-scale development of planets, how quickly and efficiently things progressed depended on the construction capabilities of various nations. However, the resources of the many planets in the solar system could almost guarantee the prosperity of human society for hundreds of years.

Moreover, not just the planets in the solar system, but also the other realms given to him by Odin were included in his development plan. Originally, he had planned to take the Dark Elves' Cross Battleship to other places in the galaxy, but now, with a self-reproducing space array, that plan was shelved.

Now, Jason's main task was to find more energy sources for the space array to enable it to continue expanding. He envisioned covering the entire galaxy or even the entire universe!

To this end, he searched through the magic books given to him by the Ancient One, looking for ways to open doorways to other universes and dimensions. After conducting in-depth research, he gradually mastered the ability to open portals to other dimensions.

However, after extensive searching, he found that most other dimensions were desolate, with no life or energy. In a considerable number of them, time and matter didn't even exist—they were simply three-dimensional or even two-dimensional spaces.

Of course, there were also dimensions inhabited by powerful demons. After Jason fought with them, they reached a stalemate. At most, he could extract some energy from them before they forcibly disconnected from his universe.

In this situation, Jason could only target the high-energy universe connected to Cyclops' eyes. He opened dozens of portals in a row, and massive amounts of high-energy rays gushed out, forming a red mist in space.

He concentrated these portals in the asteroid belt. Since they connected very close to the source of Cyclops' power, as the energy in the surrounding area decreased, Cyclops' abilities were greatly weakened.

The upside was that Scott no longer needed to wear special glasses. The downside was that now he could only use his powers to boil water.

But the world was at peace, and most of the Avengers could retire. Once the space array was complete, Jason monitored the entire world, and no criminal could escape his sight. Any conspiracy or villain that threatened the world could be arrested, sealed, or killed in an instant if he willed it.

Most of the Avengers had become model workers, rushing to the front lines of production and construction, contributing to the development of planets and other worlds!

This was what it meant to be a hero—not being immersed in thwarting villains' conspiracies, saving the world, and protecting the city all day. A society that required such work offered no hope. The emergence of superheroes was precisely the most desperate manifestation of such a society.

In a truly beautiful society, the people who deserved to be called heroes were the builders and workers! They were every ordinary but hardworking person!

After opening these super-large portals, the expansion speed of the space array was extremely fast. It took only a few days to cover the entire solar system.

Additionally, Jason listed the task of siphoning energy from Dormammu as one of his daily chores. He specifically sought out Doctor Strange and asked him to professionally prepare the summoning altar. Then Jason would summon Dormammu in different ways every day, and once connected to the Dark Dimension, he would steal its energy.

Dormammu's accumulated debts continued to increase.

...

One day, Jason was on Mars, basking in the sun, enjoying the breeze, singing songs and eating hot pot. Suddenly, he sensed a spaceship breaking into his formation.

His mind focused, and a projection appeared before him. Upon closer inspection, it was the Milano—the spaceship of the Guardians of the Galaxy. It looked like they were in a hurry; even the surface of the spacecraft showed some damage.

With a thought, the entire spaceship suddenly teleported across a vast distance and landed directly in front of him on the open ground.

Star-Lord and Rocket, who were piloting the ship, were completely dumbfounded. They carefully disembarked along with Drax, Groot, and Mantis, weapons at the ready, and saw Jason sitting there completely at ease.

They looked around and saw empty, sparsely populated terrain that didn't look like anyone lived there. But strangely enough, there stood a three-story building with a large garden in front, full of vibrant plants and fountains.

Rocket rolled his eyes, took a step back, and said to Star-Lord, "Quill, he looks like you—seems we're both dealing with a human! Go up and ask!"

The instantaneous movement had shocked Star-Lord, and he approached cautiously. "Hey, who are you? Where is this place? Are you some kind of god?"

Jason waved for them to come closer. "Don't worry, come over. This is Mars."

Star-Lord lowered his guard slightly. "Are you a Martian?"

"I'm from Earth."

"Then why are you here?"

Jason shook his head, amused. "Developing Mars is everyone's responsibility. The hundreds of miles around here are all my territory."

Quill's eyes widened instantly. According to his memory, hadn't humans just landed on the moon not long ago? They were already on Mars?

But looking at the dark red environment around them, it did indeed match Mars's appearance.

Rocket scratched his head. "If you're from Earth, how did we get here? Our ship didn't detect any energy fluctuations from teleportation. This is unscientific!"

"Here, I am science!" Jason declared.

After saying that, Jason pointed his finger, and instantly, the weapons in the hands of Star-Lord and the others began to change. Star-Lord's blaster transformed into Rocket's gun, and Rocket's weapon morphed into Mantis's...

Everyone's jaws dropped as they watched their weapons circulating among them. Only then did they realize that the person before them was no ordinary being!

After this realization, Star-Lord instantly grew excited and ran to Jason. "Please, you have to help save my girlfriend!"
