Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 Into the Crimson Light

The last thing she remembered was the roar of her bike engine and the blinding headlights of an oncoming truck.

Then—nothing.

Now, Raven stood barefoot in a field of wild green grass, wind brushing against her skin like curious fingers. A crystalline waterfall thundered nearby, its spray catching the sunlight and scattering it like shards of stained glass. Behind her loomed the skeletal remains of an ancient village—burnt timbers, stone foundations, and overgrown paths carved by time.

She exhaled sharply, amber eyes flickering with unease. Her black hair clung to her back, damp with mist.

The robotic female voice echoed in her mind, clean and cold.

Raven blinked. "System? Protocol? What the hell is this?"

A transparent screen materialized before her, displaying stats and options she barely understood.

Name: Raven

Class: Sovereign of Shadows

Title: None

Kingdom: Not yet established

Alignment: Infamous (Neutral-Evil)

System Type: Villainess Sovereign Protocol

Protection Period Remaining: 5 Days

Her lips curled into a slow grin. "Well, at least the damn voice gets me."

She moved toward the village ruins, her boots—somehow intact—crunching over debris. She passed what remained of a shattered fountain, a crumbled blacksmith's forge, and a collapsed stone tower overtaken by ivy. It wasn't much, but it was something.

"Do it," she said.

A shockwave rippled outward, red mist erupting from the ground and vanishing just as quickly.

Raven's fingers twitched. She had no tools, no allies, and no damn clue where she was. But she wasn't helpless. Not anymore.

"Alright, Crimson Ruins," she muttered, surveying the land like a biker queen sizing up new turf. "You're mine now."

She opened her system menu, absorbing every detail. The interface included build options, resource management, and "Summon Minions"—locked, for now. There was also an "Infamy Counter," currently at 0.

"Guess I'll have to make some noise."

From the waterfall came a faint echo, like a whisper of something ancient and watching. She turned but saw nothing—only water and mist.

She clenched her fist. "Five days before all hell breaks loose, huh?"

Perfect.

She pulled a nail-studded leather glove from her belt and slipped it on.

"Let's make this kingdom," she said, eyes glowing like wildfire. "And let the world remember who built it."

Welcome to Day 1.
