Xīn couldn't bear this immense strength from both sides attacking him and he doesn't even have that much energy to dodge those attacks. Thanks to his last school time dance classes he can spin off those attacks but not for longer. He was thinking that he might be dead like an unfaithful person because of that mighty freaking Bai Shao, who had brought some kind of chaotic problem to his peaceful adoring life. Honestly, that's why Xīn had trust issues because of these kinds of reasons. But, within that moment the sudden inexplicable thunder fell on the both of the corpse, they used their imposing powers to make it prevent falling on to them, but instead their power couldn't stand against this immense power and their ability to create their dark power also deteriorated, they were blown away into forest as they couldn't able to seize that thunder on them.
The hazard thunder fell vigorously once again over the ground creating an imposing destruction over the ground and impacting its nearby areas. But there was something within that destruction and thunder, there emerged a shadowy figure wearing a hat with a long sword hung on its back. The person was standing in shadow with bare hands and was wearing a dark blue with black and red mixed coloured robes, with black 'gat' on its head and a long sword that was in his back.
He looks at the Xīn who had tumbled into the ground by sudden upheaval. The person reached out his hand for gentle help.
Xīn was looking like a little weak corolla that had just fallen out from a blooming beautiful flower in winter's morning. Diffident and in embarrassment at how he had fallen into the ground, he didn't dare to say anything and quietly looked down accepting the person's gentle hand. As he feels the familiar fragrance in that person.
The person looked at Xīn's face again, his face seemed to have changed after a clear inspection and asked in a light warmth voice."You okay ?"
When that person Xīn steadied himself and he heard a familiar tone in that person's voice, he didn't look towards that person. He knew who it could be, as he could easily tell the person who was in front of him even if he is blind folded. He hesitated for a second to answer but he managed and said,"Yea, I am okay."
He was just about to take a look into that person standing in front of him before he could do that, he saw a sudden blow of chain with sharp blade edge on it coming from the behind of that person. He quickly said,"Behind you."
A long chain with a sharp blade edge swift through that person. Luckily the person was fast enough and bent towards its back, but the sharp edge of the chain almost hit Xīn going through the eye of his cornea.
The person bent and jumped up in the mid air, his face was on Xīn and turned around towards Corposes. It was when he saw his face clearly under the moonlight. It was really "Cloud" with black coloured round hat, azure with black coloured cover attire. His guessing was true. The person faces that he can't forget, if he is in some far away place in the wanderers. It was really his friend. Back then he didn't dare to look at him as he was embarrassed in a very awful way but not anymore.
The two corpses came back again, the blood shed from their full body, but it was deep black.
With quick reflexes Cloud twistedly turned around taking a minor look at their position with his sharp eyes, he charged with quick response taking out his long blade with blue sparks emerging from its sharp edges.
Xīn was in a daze at this moment of time; he was just in a complete chaos of many questions going around in his mind that seemed like it would go on forever. Just then when Xīn was thinking a black sword was almost about to cut him in a symmetrical way. With light speed Cloud reached him, grabbing him by his hand he pulled Xīn closer to him, using his sword to defend, creating a loud clashing sound of two great swords.
CLANG
One pure and another impure sword clash flying sparks in the air, although with that power of force Cloud can handle it but the corpse's body was weak, fragile and rotten as it ended up flying backwards. Catching opportunity Cloud charged his first attack on the first corpse who was holding his black sword, the corpse clenched his sword and with his imposing power corpse also charged with black malicious sword. The second corpse, one with a chain, stood behind the first corpse in an attacking posture but he wasn't attacking yet, either or neither way he was seeking a chance to attack.
The immense look was on Cloud's face.
The fighting started in the mid air, the first corpse used his long sword to directly pierce through Cloud's body, but it was an undelightful attempt to pierce through someone's body with a single blow when they are in mid air, when that Corpose is newly awakened.
Cloud drove into sight in his first attack and used his highly powerful sword to end that corpse, and with a single blow of attack he made the first corpse to turn into ashes in the mid air. The thing that the first corpse couldn't do, it was done by Cloud itself without much effort.
He turned towards the second corpse but he wasn't there at all, when they were fighting the second corpse wasn't even there for attacking from behind. A very chill vibe in the atmosphere out of nowhere. As for Xīn who was standing alone inside he also didn't see where that second corpse had gone. As he just focuses on the fight.
Clouds looked in different directions, even left towards Xīn direction there was no sign of a second corpse but an innocent face of Xīn was underlying standing in front of him.
Just then a shadow jumped out from the forest. Cloud heard the sound of a chain making a clink noise as it moved, Cloud turning towards its back was ready to charge his sword at the corpse but the second corpse took out a small bag and threw something like black sands on Cloud's face. Immediately blocking the vision of Cloud eyes.
As black sand entered his eyes he screamed in pain, letting go of his sword, frustrated in anger he said,
"ARRRGGHH, YOU SON OF BITCH."
Xīn flinched upon seeing this scenario of Cloud screaming in pain he ran towards Cloud to help him but was pushed back gently by Cloud magic in an instant. Cloud touches over his eyes with his left hand, the black sand that the second corpse thrown makes it hard to battle with him now.
The second corpse smirked in his first plan, holding his long chain which has connections with blades with sharp edges, he launched towards Cloud maliciously.
Cloud was in severe pain and was only covering his left hand. It was like he hadn't noticed that incoming attack, that blade was about to pierce through Cloud but he jumped over bending and with speed of lighting he grabbed that chain even though he was in pain.
The rusty white chain was hard as diamond, it was not just a normal chain it was a spiritual chain with many powers immense in it.
Upon getting a grip over the second corpse chain he pulls the second corpse chain and gives him a blow of punch over the stomach with his left hand. The second corpse blurted out a pool of black blood again from his mouth but it was darker than earlier before, and there was an unusual sight of the black blood evaporating in the atmosphere quickly after the second it dropped before the ground as it also turned into black vapours of trails that can be seen easily in front of both Xīn and Cloud eyes.
Then Cloud took the chain with his right hand, which the second corpse was holding in his bare hand. He twisted the chain and swiftly turned around tying him up. As he gracefully pulled the chain with sharp blade edges with his right arm and straightly pierced through the corpse body with a loud 'boom' the second corpse also erupted in dust.
The fight was vicious, though he was the only one but he was very overwhelming against those two corpses. His eyes were closed but he could hear the moments surrounding him, he called out "Xīn you okay there?"
"….." Xīn didn't reply.
A brief moment of silence was there. But he could feel the presence of Xīn in the air,"Maybe he fainted?"
The black sand that went through his eyes was now burning, it was explicit that he was holding pain in eyes that goes through his nerves and flesh making it unbearable for him.
He walked towards the Xīn direction where his presence was coming from.
It was a tremendous night. The moon is at its peak showcasing its beauty to everyone as if there's no tomorrow for itself. Cloud reached out his hand to touch on Xīn's shoulder. Xīn was there standing in silence and not even uttering a word.
After a single silence that Xīn made he still asked again in a confused voice, "Cloud, is that you?"
"...Yea, it's me, but I didn't expect that it was going to be you." Cloud speaks in a surprised voice.
What does,'I didn't expect that it was going to be you.' Xīn couldn't get at all. With an awkward crescent smile he said,"Ohh..um, I didn't know either."
Cloud was looking very additionally different in his traditional attire and it was hard to know if it's him or not in this dress, like the fifty out of fifty chances of getting a special character in a game. Cloud was about to say something but a sudden voice interrupted him from top of the hill. It was not loud nor shrill. It was like you could hear very clearly even if you were on the ground level.
"Cloud you are here as expected." A person spoke in a deep swallowed sweet voice of mystic cunning fox in a weak fairy voice.Cloud turned around, and somehow it seemed like he knew who that person was. Xīn also took a look and well who it could be except one person that he knows....Bai Shao. Bai Shao was there standing elegantly on top of the hill edge as his robes fluttered in the air, without being a threat he jumped from its place descending where both Xīn and Cloud were standing. With its elegant body he landed softly in the land like a fairy descending to the ground with its beautiful fluttering wings..
But isn't he really a fox?
Drawn back of the times, the clout wind was blowing wildly without any word. This place was like a haunted house that was kept silent for a long period of time without a word far from the world that exists.
Bai Shao seemed to have noticed Cloud hadn't moved nor opened his eyes, so he asked, "Oh my, your eyes, what just happened?"
"It's a bit hard to explain…" Cloud paused for a moment and continued his words "I got this while fighting with a dead living thing."
Bai Shao thought something for a moment and said "You sure it was the dead living thing that threw the blank sand, or maybe it's someone else?"
"No," Cloud said, "It can't be someone but I am clearly sure, they used to learn how to use black magic too by now." By the word "they", Cloud means those corpses that appeared earlier. When the two of them were in discussion Xīn's mind was still in chaos about what was going on, his brain wasn't braining at all, he had many,…too many questions in his mind that he wanted to ask abruptly in any second, 'What is black sand ?Who are those corpses ?Why did Bai Shao summon those corpses and bring me here? etc.' So many questions were roaming around in his mind.
"Xīn!" Cloud spoke up, jolting awake Xīn from his thoughts, "have you seen any activities during battle?"
"Uggh..no" he quickly replied, he was just in a daze what kind of commotion was that.
Bai Shao, who was there standing, seemed to notice something in Xīn's behaviour. Xīn also understood by his gesture that he also noticed it. Bai Shao didn't say what he just saw, but instead he said, "Cloud, let me help you out, dealing with that black sand."
"Sure.." Cloud said in an esteemed voice.
Xīn who was standing there alone could only watch Bai Shao treating Cloud with his spiritual energy on his eyes. He placed his right hand on Cloud's face and used his white spiritual energy. The white light emerges from its head like incense stick beautiful smoke entering his eyes through his eye lids.
As the treatment finished he slowly opened his eyes like a shining pearl that was hidden inside somewhere. The two of them are Bai Shao and Cloud…or maybe not Bai Shao, but Cloud looks entirely different from what he used to look. It seems like it's the different form of elements.
The look of doubt was on Xīn's face and was clearly on its outer way that Cloud also commented, "Does Xīn have any questions to ask?"
Xīn's heart thumped, he took his breath slowly but he uttered "No."
It was almost starting to get morning, maybe Three or Four am. The leaves fall tragically from the tree. The moon was about to set. The heart in Xīn's body tingled, he wasn't in sense 'what's wrong?'
Bai Shao who finished treating Cloud said to Xīn "Let me help you to home with my light wind, you must be tired."
Xīn wasn't even looking properly, his eyes got dark circles, he said "what's lig…t wind.
"It's just a telporta-" just as Bai Shao was about to finish his word Xīn fell on ground..no Cloud was able to catch him in time because of his quick agility.
