Kael took Lilah out. He wrapped a shawl around her neck and held her hand.
He handed her her cane so she could feel comfortable while walking, even if she held his hand.
"Where are we going?" She asked with a gentle tone.
"I'm going to show you to our little protector." He said and she wondered what this little protector was.
If it was an animal then was it a dog? A cat? No, a cat couldn't be a protector. If it were a protector in a werewolf pack, then was it a wolf?
She wondered but there was no way to know until she actually met it.
They walked towards an open space and she heard grunts, hand-to-hand friction like two people were fighting and she asked,
"Is anyone fighting nearby?"
"Ah, yes. The members are training in the training hall nearby." He said. "You have such good senses. Almost better than mine."
"Well, it helped me a lot." She said and squeezed his hand tight. "How much further?"
