I'm glad you've decided to read my work. There are a few things I want to warn you about.


This is a multi-pov story, meaning each chapter will follow a different character's POV, in the same vein as Game of Thrones. This is historical fiction, meaning that although the story is set in real-life 11th-century Scandinavia, everything else is fiction. This story uses norse myth as the groundwork for world-building. Norse gods are not real, and none of the creatures within have ever existed; this is purely fiction.


This story includes multiple explicit scenes, not in a power fantasy way, but in a realistic, grimy, dark-fantasy way. There may be scenes that make the reader uncomfortable, so contiune reading at your own risk. 


This story has loads of violence and is gory, if you aren't able to handle that, I advise reading something else. 


Chapters will be split in multiple parts, and between each pov switching there will be a skaldic poem to enrich the world building and current feeling of the story.
