Chapter 20 - Coincidence Or Not?

An attack right after interrogating Nivedhan? Were those two incidents possibly connected? And why were Khurana and Gujar so interested in the singular spot? Basically, you couldn't expect to find two influential businessmen in the middle of the sea for no reason at all. Was this part of their scam as well?

Questions after questions, doubts after doubts, invaded Ishar's mind. Yes, the puzzle had to be solved, now quicker than ever.

The soft jerk of the boat resonated through their bodies, indicating that they had arrived at the golden coast. Shells were glimmering off the distant glow of the dipping sun, reflecting like embers of dying fire. Each of them got off and expressed their gratitude towards Nivedhan.

As soon as they reached the car, Naren turned with a look of alarm and said, "Our house has been compromised. Our enemies raided the house, searching for new plans and strategies. Going back would mean inviting death itself."

As soon as the words left his mouth, everyone broke out in a clamor of horrified and tense words.

"How did they find out where we are?-"

"Which segment attacked us-?"

"An ambush right after we interrogated Nivedhan. Isn't that suspicious-"

"No, Nivedhan doesn't seem to be that kind of person. If that was the case, then he wouldn't have told us that information would he?"

"Maybe he gave us fake information,"

"Guys, stop, we need to think clearly. Discussing this so openly doesn't seem like a great idea."Gargi said.

It took a few minutes for everyone to settle down.

Then, in a low voice, Ishar said, "Before we can discuss the details, we need to lay low. We should ask the locals for a place like that, they know every single thing."

Aniket said, "A credulous place, huh? Like a village?"

That sparked a perfect idea in Ishar's mind. A village! Where else could they find a more private place? Even better, villagers usually knew about every single unusual thing going on in their surroundings.
