Except, his sentence echoed three times around the cave. Aniket, Gargi and Karan had asked the same thing at the same time as well! Adinath chuckled, and looked at Venkatesh. Venkatesh nodded and continued the story.
"The Viman went off, collecting valuable data and statistics from the universe. Everyone was happily pleased! However, they soon began to receive some strange signals- it was a message from another world, a different people. Technically aliens, as we would call them.
Like always, we thought to greet the aliens with goodwill, and offered them many gifts when they finally came to visit us. And like always, the aliens too got greedy upon seeing the wealth and richness of India.
So, they foolishly decided to backstab us and tried to conquer our planet, focusing majorly on our country. Seeing as they were highly advanced, the aliens got a little too overconfident of their victory.
However, what they did not know was that even a honey bee could sting if angered! Our warriors, inspired by the dignified Gods and Goddesses of our country, improved their armors, astras- or weapons as we would call it now, to create one of the most perfect defense systems of that time.
In fact, nobody in this current world seems to realize the potential of the Vedic astras being highly-developed weapons of security.
Now, as I was saying, we fought back, snuck into their ship, but the true moment of victory was when we captured all their dimanium-"
"-Wait! Dimanium? What's that?" Anjani asked.
Venkatesh smirked and Adinath gave a grin.
"Dimanium is the most efficient substance in the known universe- the alien's and our's. It is not from Earth, but comes from the planet of the aliens, and it has an extremely high calorific value- so high that it must always be diluted with something 10x of the given amount- keeping all properties in mind, I must say.
You know, only 1 hectogram of dimanium is enough to fire a missile, or cause an explosion! Did you notice that on the night of the mashaal ceremony, the torch had been dipped into some glimmering substance? It was only 0.1 hectogram of dimanium, mixed with abundant water, that allowed my mashaal to burn and glow for such a long time…Now where was I?"
Adinath started speaking again.
"The aliens turned out to be the savagest creatures ever known. They had ravaged all the dimanium of their planet, and had taken along what was left in order to conquer our Earth. By taking the leftover dimanium, our warriors could prevent further explosions, and restricted their activities greatly. Then, using their advanced weapons, they easily drove out the aliens.
Unfortunately, the kingdoms of the Vedic age submerged into water due to an earthquake. To protect the dimanium and the weapons from submersion, they hid it inside this very cave that you are standing on. But, just when we thought that we had seen the last of the aliens, those stubborn idiots showed up again, sometime during 205-210 B.C.
