A faint sound of a bell chiming in the distance can be heard which gave a sigh of relif for a few and for another few it gave an few days of relif or so. Take me for example.
The bell chimes rung for a long minute while the students who had submitted their papers began to leave their rooms and filled the hallways to talk about what they have written or just enjoy the end of this stressful week.
" Hey jiyool, what are you planning to do with the end of the midterms now. Im going to my grandparents."
Asked the person beside me. Jumping onto me.
" get off me. Im already having enough of a weight on my shoulder with me checking what i had done right or wrong in this test and i'm not going anywhere. I dont like traveling that much." I ssid so while I pushed him down and moved a bit away its actually not that I dont like traveling, its that i can't go anywhere exactly. The only place i want to go is to the mountains or just hike a bit.
" oh! Alright but at least go to places that are near to the dorms.Because the autumn weather makes this place beautiful."he said as he pointed out the window onto the park beside our college where there were already students filling the streets.
" alright i will check it it out toady and stay safe in your journey and uhhh..what is your name, I forgot it."
" didn't i tell it to you just before the exam started that my name is armin." He said with a bit of annoyance in his voice and hit me on the head with his knuckle.
"Ouch..oh yeah! Armin. I totally forgot it, sorry I have a very bad memory. I dont even remember the date sometimes but i will remember your name from now on and see you later armin." I said so while rubbing my hand near my head to ease the pain.
" alright see you after the holdiays then and enjoy these holidays."
We both parted our ways as we waved our hands as head out to our ways to enjoy these few days.
Streching my arms I looked around the roadside " now that the exams are over. I can finally have a bit of rest and do what I want for a week." I said to myself with a bit of excitement.
" like armin said i should go to a park or a forest and just enjoy the veiw there once."
But my thoughts were abrupted by the ring of my mobile. It had been a while since i had opened my mobile because of the midtemrs.
Taking out my mobile from my pocket. I looked at the mobile and i was a bit suprized to see the date.
" oh its the 3rd of october already. I forgot that its my birthday. Im gonna turn 19 tommorow.... Yayyyy." I said so with a displeased attitude.
I soon checked the mesaages to see that it was from one of the novels I was reading. "SSS-RANK TOWER CLIMBER" it was the final chapter of this volume and after this there would be only one volume left before this novel ends. " 2 thousand chapters and over 11 volumes. This story was pretty long. Over 3 years."
This novel began in my freshman years of my college and now I only have a year before my college ends.
Time does fly by..i guess
I put my mobile back in mynpocket as i wanted to read this chapter after i had gotten home for i wanted to look around the place as i hadn't seen this place fully.
I saw many thing. People taking and laughing. Birds chirping over the trees which were shedding their leaves. I never notices these thing that much but for some reason today they looked very appealing to me.
As i walked through the road taking new turns and seeing new things i suddenly got another ring from my mobile. This time it was a call from someone I knew.
" Huh why is she me calling me right now. Whatever lets see what it is."
Taking the call i put it near my ear and started walking again around the streeet which was littered with leafs and filled withe people.
" hello..are you busy right now I wanna ask you something is it ok." I could hear a bit of nervousness in her words which made me wonder what she was gonna ask me.
" yeah go on I have no plans today anyway."
" do you wanna go out somewhere today. I have nothing to do today." She said.
" yeah alright. Seems fine with me i have nothing to do anyway today too. Where should we go then."
" what do you say. I have no place in mind. Most normal places would be filled by students right now."
I already expected that those place would be full of people but this fast.
damn...
" the only good spot i know is far but it wont have even one person sitting there. What do you say."
" fine by me. Just send me the location i will be there."
Hanging up the call I walked a pretty far distance to reach the place i was talking about.
The bank of the river which was nearly three kilometers away from the college building. It was a long distance but it is worth the pain because at this time of the month. The falling leaves with the cold weather and the beautiful veiw made the walk worth it.
I sat down on the grassclittered with the autumn leaves. The sound of the leaves breaking echoed in my ears for a long while which was a pleasant sound at first but as it progressed it became a irritating sound for me.
Time passed a bit more and my patience began to drop and it was getting late. I started getting up but as i did i heard a bit of panting.
" what took you so long. I waited for half an hour for you."
