"You're being a bastard." Jin mutters, rolling his eyes, but his gaze still lands on Ashton's quivering wrist. Jin narrows his eyes, feeling a big pit in his stomach as he watches Ashton flinch and hold his wrist delicately in his hands.
"I'm being honest." Ashton said, shooting a pointed look at Jin's scowling face. "We didn't do all that training for it to come down to you cheating. I don't want that. I don't want you handing me a win I didn't earn. That'd be stupid."
"Don't you want to get the fuck out of here?" Jin asked, letting out a harsh huff from his lips. "At this rate we'll be stuck here until either you or I have to piss, shit, or both."
Ashton glowers, biting his lips enough to almost peel skin, and it makes Jin fight to urge to grab his face and part his lips to prevent it.
"Maybe…" Ashton said, handing his head, his shoulders stiff and staking as he hunches over. "But I don't want it. That. Something I didn't earn. It's…it's not right."
