And they weren't wrong, the gap between them was not small, it was gigantic.
Han Sen was a 9th star Dou Master and they were at least around 4th of 5th star Dou Grandmaster.
The gap was almost of 5 minor levels and one major level. This was truly a big gap. In novel, the reason why Xiao Yan could fight people of higher level them him was mainly because of his Flame Mantra and heavenly Flames.
But our character doesn't have any luxury. His only way of fighting against people of higher level is his Good foundation and his one and only death finger.
And even after this, at best he could Win against a 1st star Dou Grandmaster and if lucky, he could make a tie with 2nd star Grandmaster.
That's was all. So currently, he doesn't stand a chance against any of them.
So obviously, all these 4 beasts only thought him as a cannofodder and launched a normak attack, which was enough to wipe a normal Dou Master.
But who would tell them, that they were trying to kill a God with a knife.
When the magical beasts attacked him, he didn't even turn around. He simply kept on moving forward. But just few seconds before the attack was about to hit him.
Suddenly, Han Sen roared deeply within his heart, 'Lightning Chasing Steps!!'
Sparks of lightning covered his entire body at an astonishing speed. Lightning rushed out from his body with a precise momentum. His speed increased drastically and he narrowly dodged the attacks pointed at him.

All the attacks collided on the ground or with one another, thus creating a massive blast.

Wave of energy erupted followed by a shockwave that astonished all the Dou Masters present there.
But Han Sen already having calculated their moves didn't even turned around, he flashed like a bolt of lighting and entered the water bed.
On the surface of water, his legs completely wrapped in lighting shot forward towards the lotus at an speed that no one could ever imagine.

Soon, under everyone's surprised and shocked gaze, his hands completely wrapped in blue lightning arcs rushed towards the lotus which was few centimeters above the sea level.
Both the hand and the lotus came in contact.

A thick bolt of lightning from the lotus passed into Han Sen's hands. His eyes tured hollow, and he almost screamed, his hands burned chard black.
His eyes turned red, and he gritted his teeth with anger and pain.
In the excitement he forgot that this lotus had enough alure to make even a Dou Grandmaster get mad, than how much energy would it have.
And sheer force hidden within the lotus was out of his expectations, this was really unbelievable.
Han Sen thought, 'It's frightening!! How can it have so much power? Unbelievable!! No wonder, it attracts so much nuisance.'
After coming out of his daydreaming, he channeled all his Dou Qi within his hand and roared deeply within his heart, 'Son of a gun!! Just be gone!!'
With all his might, he unplugged the lotus from the stem.

A small lotus with three leaf, and a small stem attacked to it came in his view.
Even though it looked as if it took quite a while, but all of this happened in a fraction of seconds.
But just after he unplugged the lotus, all the 4 beasts faces turned pale, especially the fox. It screamed with all his might. Followed by the cheetah, ape and snake.

And soon all 4 of them launched their most frightining attack with an intension of killing Han Sen.
The moment Han Sen unplugged the lotus, different colours of pillars rushed towards him like thay were about to drown him.
But Han Sen wasn't a vegetarian either. The moment he unplugged the lotus, he channeled his Dou Qi within his back and soon, under everyone's hateful and shocked eyes, two gorgeous purple color wings appeared behind his back.
And when the attack was just one breath away from him, the wings flapped and he disappeared into the distant horizon like the sunset in the darkness.

For the beasts below, he looked like a purple colour rocket flying towards mars.
Only few minutes after Han Sen left, did the magical beasts came out of there dazed state.
After coming out of there dazed state they realised that they had been robed by an ant under there nose. This had them shocked for a while. But when they understood all 4 of them erupted like a volcano.

Endless, wild roaring sound, completely soaked wet in endless murderous intent could be heard through out the area.

While all the Megical beast in the 4 mountain ranges were completely enraged and searching like a mad dog, here and there for Han Sen.
He was in the same cave of the Dou Huang which was under the valley.
Actually, while coming he realised that just few miles from the cave was the 4 mountain range. Around 10 miles or so.
So he planned that after stealing the lotus, he will return back into this lucky place and go under retreat. Rather than returning back to that man. Who was staying some distance away from the secret place. Actually, he didn't took that man in his secret place. Because, it really was too secret and it can't be disclosed to anyone no matter what. Even if it means leaving an old weak father in jungle for one year.
Well, it is not like he is heartless but the man wasn't a weakling. So, obviously he can take care of himself.
And currently, he hasn't even taken the Demon Poision Fruit. So returning isn't very professional. And after talking to that man, Han Sen came to know that his daughter had one whole year before she would be in life or death danger. So Han Sen decided that before raiding the Snake mountain, he should first take the lotus and then he will think about the future plane.
After coming into the cave, he sat on the same lotus platform as usual. Then he brought out the lotus from his ring.
His right hand despite being in gloves and thunder cloak was chard black.
Seeing this, he clenched his hands with some difficulty and said, "Damn!! This lotus is very wild, it is really going to be an one hack of a deal to devour it. It really isn't just an ordinary herb but rather it really is a heavenly treasure for thunder attribute user."

After that, he stopped his antics and went into retreat to heal his injuries. He ate a tier 1 pill and completely recover from his hand injury.
Then he started his normal training, he continued it for a week. And then, finally on the 7th day.
He woke up. Then he took the lotus from the ground which was completely wrapped with dense blueish, silver lightning arcs.
Even though the lightning have weakened somewhat after it was removed from the stem. But still the lightning was one hack of a thing for a mere Dou Master.
