Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: First Night

Kazuki lay in bed, arms folded behind his head, staring at the old wooden ceiling like it owed him an apology. The cabin smelled like dry hay and bad choices.

"Bet she won't come," he muttered.

The system pinged with quiet amusement.

{Lila Mental State: Restless, Yearning, Guilty}

{Probability of Visit: 68% and rising}

{You wore the right shirt}

Kazuki smirked.

"Good. I wasn't planning to sleep anyway."

He closed his eyes for a moment.

Then—

Knock.

Soft. Almost shy.

He opened one eye.

"Well, well…"

He stood, walked to the door slow. No rush. Just enough to make her wait.

When he opened it, Lila stood there like a painting that was never meant to be seen in the dark.

"Hey," she said, voice barely above a whisper.

He leaned against the frame. Shirt loose. Eyes half-lidded.

"Couldn't sleep?"

"I... I don't know why I'm here."

"You sure?"

Lila hesitated. Looked at the ground. Then looked up.

"I shouldn't have come."

"But you did."

"I shouldn't go in."

"Then why haven't you left?"

She bit her lip. He saw the storm in her eyes.

He stepped aside, quiet, like he wasn't inviting her in—just letting her make the choice.

She walked past him. Slowly. Barefoot. Barely breathing.

The door closed behind her with a soft thud that sounded like a secret being sealed.

"You want me to say something that makes this okay?" Kazuki asked, voice low.

"No."

"Then we won't talk."

She turned to him, lips trembling, fingers playing with the hem of her shawl.

"But I need something."

He stepped in. Touched her chin. Lifted it gently.

"Then take it."

She kissed him first.

And everything that came after was fire and guilt and desire melting into one long, slow, forbidden night.

Lila stood in the cabin like sin wrapped in silk. Her eyes searched his face for something—doubt, maybe. But Kazuki didn't blink.

"Are you gonna stand there shaking, or are you gonna kiss me like you mean it?" he asked, voice low.

She dropped the shawl.

Her hands were on his chest a second later, sliding up to his neck, pulling him down into a kiss that tasted like she hadn't kissed in years. It was hungry. Wet. Messy in all the right ways.

He gripped her hips, lifted her like she weighed nothing. Her legs locked around him. They fell onto the bed, mouths never parting, breathing like they'd just escaped something burning.

"Ahh… yes…" she moaned softly, her breath catching in his ear as his lips traced down her neck.

Her hands clawed at his back, not gentle—needing more.

Kazuki didn't tease this time. He moved slow, deep, deliberate. Every motion wrung a sound out of her.

"Yes… there—right there—don't stop…"

She arched into him.

He pushed harder.

"Faster—mmm—Kazuki—"

He grabbed her wrists, pinned them above her head, kissed her again while her body trembled under him.

Time slipped.

She was gasping now. Whimpering.

"Hnnh—yes—just like that—"

Sheets tangled. Skin slick. His name kept slipping from her lips like she couldn't help it anymore.

"Ahh—Kazuki—yes—please—more—"

The bed creaked beneath them, their rhythm unbroken.

An hour passed.

Then two.

She came undone in his arms, again and again, whispering broken things like she'd never wanted this—but now couldn't stop.

By the fourth hour, they weren't even speaking. Just groaning. Clutching. Breathing like beasts.

Six hours later, she lay against his chest, silent. Face buried into him. Voice hoarse. Legs shaking. No regrets. Just sin and sweat.

Kazuki kissed her forehead.

"You'll dream about this every night now."

She didn't deny it.

The sun didn't rise gently.

It slammed through the cracks of the old cabin like it was mad about what happened the night before.

Kazuki blinked awake. Lila was still wrapped around him, bare skin glowing under the soft golden light. Her hair was a mess. Her breathing calm. She looked… peaceful. Like she hadn't just spent the entire night forgetting her husband with a man she barely knew.

He slipped out from under her slowly, careful not to wake her.

Quiet steps on the wooden floor.

Outside, birds chirped.

Inside, guilt hadn't woken up yet.

He pulled on his shirt. It smelled like sweat and vanilla. Hers, probably. His collar was wrinkled from how she gripped it. His neck had a bite mark just under the jaw.

He smirked.

{Lila Affection: 100% – Addicted}

{Danger Level: 73% – Don't get cocky}

{New Skill Unlocked: Heartthief – You take what's not yours. Easily.}

Kazuki stepped outside, yawning, stretching.

And stopped.

Mia stood there.

Red hair. Cold eyes. Basket of bread in her arms.

She hadn't knocked yet. She was just standing there, about to walk up. But now… now she saw everything.

His shirt half-buttoned. His hair messy. The fresh scratch on his neck.

Her eyes flicked past him, toward the door still open a crack.

She didn't say a word.

Kazuki smiled like the bastard he was.

"Mia," he said, tone light. "Morning delivery?"

She said nothing for a second.

Then she set the basket down.

Hard.

And turned.

Didn't look back.

The basket still sat there like proof.

Inside the cabin, Lila stirred. "Kazuki…? Where'd you go…?"

He didn't answer right away.

The system dinged again.

{Mia Suspicion: MAXED – Fire ignited}

{Hidden Quest: Collision – Handle two storms without getting burned}

{Warning: NTR Event Approaching}

Kazuki picked up the basket. Looked at the bread.

Still warm.

He closed the door behind him. Not all the way. Just enough to leave it slightly open.

He liked when things got complicated.

And this?

This was just getting fun.
