Kael Vaelorian is the live-in son-in-law of the Eldros family. He was married into this family 4 years back. Elder Eldros was saved by Kael from a dying condition. He was impressed by Kael's courage and thus got her grand daughter Emily Eldros engaged with Kael. Emily couldn't deny the marriage. But always looked down on Kael because he was not from a prominent or rich family. Where Eldros was one of the 1st class rich families in Zephyros. 1st class rich families are 3rd from the top in hierarchy in whole country. While elite families and royal families are at 2nd and top respectively. So she was proud not just for her lineage but also for her beauty and talent. She was just 25 years old but already a successful businesswoman in Zephyros. She was leading the Eldros software farm as a CEO and it was listed as the top 2nd business industry for it's creative approach and successful achivements. Where her husband was nothing but mediocre. He was hansome? Yes. But face and look doesn't buy you glory.
Kael always tried to help Emily in all her works. But didn't interfere in office works. Bcz he wanted to remain as nothing but mediocre.
At 11 pm. Kael was sitted in lotus position keeping his eyes shut with a rhythmic breathing. And if anyone would focus then they could see the glowing scene in between Kael's chest which radiated a faint silver colour.
Creak..The door opened and Emily entered the room. Feeling someone entering the room Kael stopped what he was doing and looked at Emily. Emily didn't even bother to look at Kael. She went to the bathroom, took shower and came out. She wore a nighty which slightly exposed her cleavage. She lied in bed to sleep. Kael also lied beside her keeping considerable distance. Though they were married for 4 years but emily didn't let him touch her. She felt that letting him sleep in the same bed was already generous of her. 5 minutes passed and emily broke the silence.
Kael.. You know you don't deserve me. Grandpa was the one who forced me to marry you. I already have someone i love. Nick is my childhood friend and also our friends in family. For grandpa i can't ask you directly to divorce me. But if you are cleaver enough you will tell grandpa that you don't wanna continue this relationship. Or you will regret not listening to my words.
Kael felt pain in his heart. Though it was not a love marriage but after staying for 4 years together he began to feel love for Emily. But Emily stayed as cold as she was from the beginning. Though everyone knew that Emily was the one pulling the Eldros software farm towards fame and glowry. But in reality it was Kael who helped her from the shadow. But all efforts were in vein. He just got cold words and a shut in heart of her wife in return.
He said ok. He didn't let his emotion make him burden for someone who didn't want him her life. But dodn't regret this in future. Kael said.
Hmmp.. Emily sneered. Regret!! This will be the best decision of my life.
Kael said nothing else and lost himself in deep sleep. Emily also fell asleep in a happy mood.
