Selena ran out of the library in pain as tears rolled down her eyes. Earlier, she had tried to leave an iota of elegance by walking fast when she had moved to the library, but now she did not care one bit. She ran like a mad woman. All she wanted right now was a lonely place where she could simply stay and no one would disturb her.
The blurriness in her sight made it hard for her to see her surroundings, but just as she moved to turn, her body collided into someone's.
She moved back as a hand held her shoulders gently in place to avoid her from losing her balance. She looked up and to her surprise, there stood Queen Diana, her expression filled with barely contained surprise as she stared at the girl's face which was filled with tears.
Selena managed an elegant curtsy as she needed to show her respect for the queen.
"Lady Selena, come with me," Diana spoke softly.
