Chapter 1 - The Fatebound chronicles: Siren of the silver die

Prologue — The Balance of Fates

In the great weave of existence, every realm is spun from threads of light and darkness, of hope and despair. Some know these forces only as myth — distant legends whispered in taverns or scrawled in crumbling tomes. But in truth, they are very real, and very ancient.

From the beginning, the multiverse has teetered upon a delicate balance. For every act of creation, there is a shadow cast. For every hero born, a villain rises. And in the spaces between, where the laws of fate bend and ripple, walk those chosen few — the Fatebinders.

Fatebinders are not born, but called. Chosen by the Die of destiny, they wield unimaginable power — not merely to fight, but to shift the very threads of reality. Their charge is not conquest, but balance. To hold back the creeping dark and preserve the light in all its fragile forms.

But not all who are chosen remain pure.

In the silent cracks of history, In a realm called 'Virelia' also known as 'the woven realm' there rose one such being — once mortal, once noble, who sought to bind fate not to balance, but to dominion. He twisted the Die, cursed his own soul, and burned his name from the records of time. From his corruption was born Velcrath, the Shadowed Fate.

No longer a man, nor truly a god, Velcrath became the essence of darkness itself, a force that slipped between worlds, seeking not to rule, but to corrupt — to unravel the fates of all realms and remake them in shadow.

And so the game begins again.

A roll of the Die. A shimmer in the weave. A single thread, plucked from the mundane — and drawn into the storm.
