After I found myself turning invisible, I wasn't sure what was happening to me next. I could feel myself floating around the tree fort. Bumping into lab tables and chairs. I was looking for the trap door to get out of the tree fort. Before the goblin king came back to discover I was no longer present.
Suddenly, as I found myself floating toward the trap door by the corner of the tree fort, I stopped. Because somebody was pounding on the door. Trying to get through. I didn't know what to do to protect myself.
So, I grabbed a table chair and started to block the trap door. So nobody could open the door. The angry mob from the parents in the town were getting anxious and curious. I turned to look out the tree fort. I saw my two friends Yoyo and Greg from work, climbing up the ladder to the top of the tree fort.
They won't like what was happening to me. My friends probably wouldn't let me get to notice them for what I had become. I was pacing back and forth in front of the lab experiment table.
Maybe there was some kind of protection potion I could make. To keep the mob of parents from the town in Supernaturalville away from here. They don't belong out here in the wild. If they discover I'm not what I used to be, they won't like what's going on with me.
How do I get out of here, without anybody noticing me? I was running out of time and patience. I had to get back to my apartment. I quickly jumped out of the window...!
And landed on a tree branch, while trying to climb down the ladder. Nobody could see me. I wanted to hurry to the Alive at Midnight Mansion where I would get answers to the goblin king. Who must help me get to my normal self once again.
I didn't turn back as I continued running past the mob of mad parents trying to get inside of the tree fort. I just kept running...not looking back. My breath was breathing heavily in my chest. I should have just blocked the text invitation who sent me the party invite.
But I knew I would never experience anything of like this before. After getting back into town, I looked around the streets. Nothing seemed suspicious or knew I was invisible.
I continued running my way through town. The Alive at Midnight Mansion was just down the block in the neighborhood. When suddenly, as I came to a manhole in the middle of the wet street. The lid opened, and the goblin king appeared in the open hole.
Taking a magic wand in his hand, he zapped a bolt of electricity at me with his wand. I shook with lightning bolts going through my invisible body. I found myself feeling paralyzed with fear.
A beam of moonlight from the stormy night clouds, shown down on me. My body sparkled and I glowed in the light. I found myself turned back to normal. I couldn't believe what happened to me!
"Come with me, kid!" shouted the goblin boy, above the manhole in the middle of the foggy street. I looked around and didn't see anybody else after us.
So, I nodded with agreement. And quickly ran toward the open manhole. The goblin boy ducked back inside the dark manhole. After I had jumped down into the manhole and landed in sewer water in the dark tunnel.
The little goblin king also carried a burning torch in his right hand. I didn't want to be here. I was expected to be back to work at the Fun Flicks video store tomorrow. I knew I shouldn't get myself into something to get me into trouble.
"Where are we going, goblin king?" I asked, politely. I don't think he was paying attention to me. He stopped at the corner of the dark tunnel we were in. As the goblin king, turned to look around the side of the tunnel. I also saw there was my two best friends Yoyo and Greg laughing and running through the tunnel.
I didn't know if they know what they suspected of me hiding in the sewer tunnels. But I did know I didn't want to stay in the tunnel long enough to find us down here. I turned back to the goblin king's attention.
"There's a short cut to get to the Alive at Midnight Mansion," whispered the goblin king to me. I nodded and understood. But I don't know how we were going to get to there. Without being caught by my friends and the mob of angry parents in Supernaturalville.
After the angry shouts from my friends disappearing farther into the dark tunnel, the goblin king and I started to walk down the sewer. When suddenly, we bumped into my two best friends from work, Yoyo and Greg. From around the other side of the tunnel.
Yelling and shouting at somebody else in the tunnel with us, Yoyo and Greg quickly tossed a net over our heads. And struggled to fight to keep us from getting away from us.
"We are going to be rewarded, Hector Fleg!" exclaimed my friend Yoyo, holding the safety net over me and the goblin king. "The party host will be so excited we capture the goblin king. Who promises us to the party at the Alive at Midnight Mansion will not be forgotten," Yoyo said, excitedly.
When we heard shouts and loud voices coming from around the other side of the dark tunnel, the angry mob of parents from Supernaturalville cornered us.
