[SCENE OF BATTLE AGAINST HOLLOWBORNS]
As all the Hollowborns attack together, Dawn, Tracey, and Ashenfang are surrounded in the center, now just about to get hit by all the incoming attacks.
Ashenfang creates a flame barrier around himself, covering both Dawn and Tracey inside it.
As the attacks start forcing the flame barrier to break, inside it, they are confused about what to do.
On one side, Gray is still fighting against Ren, and on the other, Ari is sitting in the corner, leaning against the wall, just focused on healing herself.
The flame shield is starting to crack.
Dawn looks all around—only Hollowborns are visible, completely enclosing them.
Then she spins her iron rod, points its head toward the ground, and takes her stance.
A blue circle begins to form beneath them.
Dawn
"Water Drive."
As she activates her move, the flame shield begins to crack rapidly.
Dawn
"I know, Tracey, that now your power will be reduced due to my magic zone… but I guess eventually, this is the right time to show what we learned under Master Cyrus."
Tracey, with a confident smile, says,
"Yeah, we've done this before, so it's not too much of a deal."
The shield shatters.
The Hollowborn attacks rush toward them, but Dawn swings her iron rod, creating a massive whirlpool. The incoming attacks get caught inside, spinning wildly.
Then she throws the whirlpool to one side—
The spinning mass crashes through dozens of Hollowborns.
Now, only Dawn and Tracey stand there.
Tracey
"Beast Magic: Full Control – Ashenfang!"
As he says this, flames begin to engulf his body, and flaming horns form around his head.
Dawn stood ready with her iron rod, water magic swirling around her in perfect control.
On next to her, Tracey He brought his fists together with force—flames erupted instantly, dancing between his knuckles.
Hollowborns roared and charged from all directions, dozens of them leaping through the steam-filled air.
"Let's go," Dawn said calmly.
"Gladly," Tracey grinned, eyes blazing.
The first wave came—Dawn struck the ground with the end of her rod. Water spiraled upward like coiling serpents, sweeping away the front line of Hollowborns with a crash of high-pressure waves. As a few creatures tried to leap through the gaps, Tracey stepped forward with a snarl, his fists blazing.
"Flame Fang Barrage!"
He dashed in, unleashing a flurry of flaming punches. Every hit exploded on contact—blasts of fire launching Hollowborns backward, their forms scorched and tossed like ragdolls. A fiery arc trailed behind his fists with every movement.
But they kept coming.
"Behind you!" Dawn warned.
She spun, swinging her iron rod in a full circle. "Tidal Ring!"
A sudden dome of water formed around them—then burst outward in a wave, sweeping several Hollowborns off their feet. Before they could recover, Tracey leapt through the fading mist.
"Stay down!" he roared, diving into the crowd with a flaming uppercut that split the air.
The battlefield turned chaotic—steam rising from every clash of water and flame. But their movements were perfectly synchronized. Every time Dawn pushed the enemies back, Tracey charged in to finish the job. Every time Tracey burned a path through the horde, Dawn's water swept around him, protecting his flanks and sealing off gaps.
One Hollowborn lunged toward Dawn from the blind spot—but Tracey stepped between in a flash, grabbing it with a flaming grip and slamming it into the ground, flames erupting from the impact.
She raised her rod toward the sky. "Hydro Lance!"
Three spears of water formed and launched forward with deadly precision, impaling a line of enemies before they could gather momentum again.
"Burning Prowl!" Tracey roared, charging low and fast—he became a streak of fire, weaving through the remaining Hollowborns, his fists striking with brutal speed.
Steam clouded the field again.
Water surged beneath their feet. Fire danced through the air above them.
In that moment—opposites no longer clashed. They flowed.
Fire and water, two forces moving in harmony.
One wild and raging.
The other calm and controlled.
But together—unstoppable.
As the last wave of Hollowborns regrouped to attack, both Dawn and Tracey stood side by side once more, breathing in sync.
Dawn lifted her rod.
Tracey cracked his fists again—flames blooming between them.
This battle wasn't over. But now… the Hollowborns were the ones at a disadvantage.
[Scene of Ren vs. gray]
Ren charged toward Gray, black flames swirling around his feet and fists.
With one powerful push of his foot against the ground, he appeared right in front of Gray and threw a punch.
But Gray blocked it by crossing his blades.
Gray — "Reflect!"
The punch got reflected, sending Ren flying backward. But this time, he controlled his motion, and just before the reflection could fully push him away, he twisted his body mid-air and launched a kick at Gray—
—causing both of them to be thrown several meters apart in opposite directions.
Both stood up again.
Ren raised his hand and began creating a giant black fireball.
He hurled it toward Gray.
It moved so fast, packed with so much magic, that the floor along its path was scorched and cracked from the impact.
Gray stood firm, twin blades ready.
He slashed in an X-formation—
The ball was split into two pieces, each caught on a blade tip.
Then—
Gray — "Reflect!"
He sent both halves flying back at Ren with double the speed.
Ren was hit.
The reflected attack was so powerful that Ren was blasted back, skidding and struggling to stop his motion.
Finally, he slammed down and halted on the ground.
But in the very next second, Gray charged at him—
And attacked again.
Ren blocked with his fists and tried to engulf Gray in flames.
But just as the fire burst out—
It reflected back onto Ren.
Ren staggered back as his own flames struck him. His arms smoked, skin slightly charred—but his eyes…
They burned brighter.
Ren — "Tch… You really think this is enough to stop me?"
He slammed his fists together. A shockwave pulsed out. The air around him turned heavy, as if it were being pulled toward the darkness forming around his body.
Black flames surged up like a storm, wrapping around him from foot to head. His hair flicked upward from the heat, and his veins glowed faint crimson beneath his skin.
Ren roared.
A fierce shockwave burst out, cracking the ground beneath his feet. His body vanished in an instant.
BOOM!
Gray barely raised his blades before Ren's fist smashed into them. The sheer force sent Gray flying—his blades scraping sparks as he slid across the stone floor, almost crashing into the wall.
Ren didn't stop.
He dashed forward, his fists trailing streaks of flame. His next punch missed, but he instantly followed with a spinning heel kick. Gray blocked again—
—but this time the reflection didn't trigger fast enough.
CRACK!
Gray was sent crashing back, blood spitting from his mouth. He barely had time to breathe when Ren appeared again, a black flame-coated punch slamming straight into his chest and lifting him off the ground.
Ren — "Let's see you reflect this!"
He grabbed Gray mid-air and hurled him downward like a meteor.
BOOM!
A crater formed where Gray landed.
He groaned, coughing, blades trembling in his grip as he tried to push himself up.
But Ren wasn't done.
He floated above, black fire spinning around him like a storm of blades. Both of his hands glowed with condensed inferno.
He thrust both hands down—
A massive black inferno wave burst forth, tearing toward Gray like a collapsing sun.
Gray's eyes widened, battered and nearly spent. His blades rose shakily.
Then—
A streak of light.
A flash cut through the flames.
BOOM!
The black fire was split apart.
A golden figure stood in front of Gray, one arm raised, palm glowing with radiant energy.
Ari.
Ari — "lets defeat him together ."
Her voice was calm—but the light in her eyes told another story.
Ren stood mid-air, frozen. His flames still burned around him, but he didn't strike again. His breath was heavy, eyes wild with rage—but they narrowed as he stared at her.
Gray looked up, blinking through blood and dust.
Ari stood firm.
[Scene: A dark room]
Celestia: "Those pieces… they invaded Lab-1."
Magnus: "Don't worry. This works in our favor. Now we can observe how the Hollowborn perform against worthy opponents."
Celestia: "But what if they manage to kill all of them?"
Magnus: smirking "Have you forgotten? The Hollowborn are immortal. Only we can end them.
The only thing that matters… is that they kill the Perfect Born first. After that, they'll survive—no matter what."
