Chapter 224 - Chapter 224: Smiling Dinisha, the Planet Devourer!

"It's not bad to show some reverence toward Death, Kei."

Ancient One placed her index and middle fingers on the Eye of Agamotto and spoke pointedly to Kei Yamanaka.

"Hmm?"

Kei Yamanaka arched an eyebrow. His immediate thought was: Had the Ancient One foreseen a future where he went on a killing spree on Blue Planet?

He admitted—he could be pretty ruthless with enemies.

But surely it wasn't bad enough to merit a warning… was it?

Or…

Was the Ancient One referring to Death—the one among the Five Primordial Gods?

Had he done something with the Time Stone in the Eye of Agamotto that irritated her?

Looking at his trait interface—five Keyword Detach opportunities, five Skill Downgrades, and eight Keyword Reset chances—calmed him slightly.

No need to panic. No problem at all!

Until he had the strength to face her head-on, showing some self-restraint would have to do.

"By the way, Dormammu has already sensed it—that I stole massive dark dimensional energy. If we must face him... revealing appropriate weakness will yield longer-term gains."

Ancient One stepped back twice, spatial-time forces rapidly converging behind her, forming a dimensional portal.

Unlike Kamar-Taj's magical forces crackling with sparks.

This power clearly didn't belong to Ancient One herself—it bore certain similarities to the power of the Bifrost Bridge.

"I look forward to our next meeting, Sorcerer Supreme."

Kei Yamanaka gave a thoughtful nod.

Earlier, he'd already been eyeing that seemingly infinite dark dimensional energy.

Even contemplating contacting Dormammu later, following Ancient One's footsteps—draining him completely in one shot.

Yet from the Sorcerer Supreme's words—

Dormammu might soon descend upon Blue Planet again. To extract more energy and maximize benefits, it was better to graze slowly rather than pull too hard and drive the demon off entirely?

"I share the same anticipation."

The Ancient One's form gradually vanished through the dimensional gateway.

Immediately afterward, the Mirror Dimension magic originally surrounding them—meant to prevent damaging reality—shattered like fragile glass.

Once again standing atop the snow-covered mountain peak, biting winds howled around him.

A system notification chimed in right on cue.

[Beep~ Detected a major alteration to a key supporting character's fate. World line progression has experienced a minor deviation. Rewards obtained: Keyword Copy Opportunity x1, Random Blue-Tier Skill Upgrade x2, Keyword Draw Opportunity x2, Keyword Gift Opportunity x2.]

"…"

Kei Yamanaka viewed the rewards in his mind, smirking without voicing any complaints.

The Marvel universe carried an extremely grand worldview. Within multidimensional, multiversal, multiple world-line settings, changing even a single person's fate rarely caused major world line shifts.

Especially not when that person happened to be the Sorcerer Supreme, Ancient One.

More importantly…

Kei raised a hand, rubbing the Eye of Agamotto hanging from his chest.

The Ancient One had deliberately chosen the path with minimal impact upon the current world line.

And she'd left him with plenty of critical guidance as well.

It would be strange if such influence and interference were actually significant!

Moreover, in the original storyline, this powerful figure disappeared far too early. Except for her impact on Doctor Strange, she was practically invisible throughout the rest of the narrative.

"Forget it, forget it..."

Kei Yamanaka looked at the intensified red aura of his personal fortune surrounding him—a result of changing Ancient One's fate under the effect of the [Fate Mechanism Sundial]—and shook his head slightly.

Pushing aside his wandering thoughts, he turned his focus toward the System Interface, preparing to make full use of his recent gains.

Currently, only three Blue-Tier Skills were activated within him:

[Silent Walker], [Great-Grandma's Stick], and [Satellite Devourer].

The departure of Ancient One directly rewarded him with two random Blue-Tier Skill Upgrade opportunities.

Most likely, he could finally upgrade the crucial [Satellite Devourer] by one level.

But these kinds of matters relied heavily on luck—unless absolutely necessary, Kei had no desire to gamble.

As for the already activated skills,

he could either gift them to someone else, perform Keyword Detachment on himself, or reset or downgrade them.

Detachment was out of the question—it came at too great a cost.

Resetting or downgrading?

The former still relied on chance. If he was unlucky, he might end up with a negative skill. Even if he was lucky, stealth-related skills weren't particularly useful to him anyway.

Downgrading? Well, they were still Blue-Tier Skills!

Such a waste!

"Gift it to whom?"

Figures rapidly flashed through Kei's mind, but all were quickly dismissed.

He didn't have access to anyone suitable at the moment.

To deal with just one Blue-Tier Skill, traveling all the way back to Jotunheim, crossing the World Portal, returning specifically to the Ninja World, then running back again...

That would be sheer madness!

As for Kushina,

like Tsunade, she followed the simple philosophy of brute strength overpowering any ten techniques. Stealth-based skills suited for assassination and infiltration wouldn't suit her at all.

"Kei, she's awake."

Kushina's mental voice echoed inside his mind.

Kei raised an eyebrow and immediately entered Chen Ge Hu.

Inside was a golden-haired, blue-eyed woman with a slim waist and toned legs, her lips perpetually carrying a faint smile.

In the typically cold tone of a Claymore warrior, she expressed her gratitude to Kei Yamanaka and Kushina for saving her life, then revealed her identity and name.

Dinisha — Number 182 of Generation 77 and currently the top-ranking Claymore.

As soon as he learned her identity, Kei immediately cast Six Paths Demonic Illusion: Hypno Academy, sending her into an instant slumber.

Using the illusion to briefly explain her new reality, he also transferred the [Silent Walker] skill to her.

He had no plans to visit the Claymore world anytime soon.

But who said he couldn't gain worldline-altering rewards remotely from the Claymore world?

Dinisha, the number one warrior of the Claymores known as "Smiling Dinisha,"

was the strongest swordswoman who could defeat most demons without even unleashing her inner yoki. Using her to alter the entire world of the Claymores shouldn't be too difficult, should it?

Allowing the illusion-lulled Dinisha to drift into unconsciousness,

Kei left the Chen Ge Hu space with Kushina and sat down at the cliff's edge atop Snow Mountain Peak.

As they admired the snow-covered peaks together, Kei continued experimenting with his latest gains.

"System, use both of my random Blue-Tier Skill Upgrade opportunities!"

[Congratulations, Host! The Blue-Tier Skill 'Great-Grandma's Stick' has successfully upgraded to the Purple-Tier Trait 'Four Breakdowns Per Second'.]

[Congratulations, Host! The Blue-Tier Skill 'Satellite Devourer' has successfully upgraded to the Purple-Tier Trait 'Planet Devourer'.]

[Four Breakdowns Per Second (Purple): None are spared from death's touch in life. Tears won't cease with four breakdowns each second. When using polearm-type weapons, each hit against enemies whose mental fortitude falls below yours by an entire tier will inevitably trigger visions of family calling, friends betraying, being cuckolded, and financial bankruptcy within their minds, greatly reducing the enemy's will to fight and instinct to survive; significantly boosts proficiency, control, learning speed with polearms, and overall attack speed.]

[Planet Devourer (Purple): Capable of devouring any energy source to supply oneself, expands personal energy capacity limits; if your current energy type is below Mid-Tier Cosmic Energy, it automatically upgrades to Mid-Tier Cosmic Energy; dramatically increases both energy absorption and conversion efficiency; once 100 units of planetary energy are absorbed, this trait evolves further.]

"These really are... two traits with completely opposite styles."

A smirk formed on Kei Yamanaka's lips.

The [Four Breakdowns Per Second] ability felt just like something out of a comedy anime—seriousness was clearly not this ability's forte.

When he first saw this skill listing, he initially thought it was tied to polearm-based techniques, perhaps connected to swordmaidens like Fiora, never expecting "four breakdowns per second" meant shattering an opponent's defenses four times every second!

Family bonds, friendships, romantic relationships, and finances—a quadruple breakdown.

Most people wouldn't even want to keep fighting—let alone living!

In stark contrast, [Planet Devourer] felt incredibly formal and rigidly serious.

Moreover, upon upgrading to a Purple-Tier Trait, it directly gained the ability to transform internal energies into Mid-Tier Cosmic Energy.

Currently, his grasp of the Marvel universe's energy system was still quite limited.

Yet he could sense one undeniable truth—

his own spiritual power barely exceeded Mid-Tier Cosmic Energy by a narrow margin!

Could that mean...

that so-called High-Tier Cosmic Energies might actually exceed spiritual power in raw strength, destructive output, and purity?

After waiting for a full minute,

no voice notification signaled a skill-list fusion. He paused momentarily before turning his attention toward three unawakened traits.

The colored traits: [Divine Chaos Mage] and [Eternal Companion].
