"The light of Lord God shines upon His devoted followers! Would you like to believe in Lord God as well? He is the most merciful deity, a noble divine presence who helps all beings escape suffering and misfortune, bringing lasting peace and happiness! Fate may be unfair, but Lord God can change destiny..."
Miroku, the shrine maiden, noticed Butterfly Sanae's expression and smiled slightly. She walked forward with elegant steps until she stood directly before her.
She had long since left the Land of Demons and was well-accustomed to this kind of reaction.
Oh, this lost girl from another world!
Become a faithful disciple of Lord God and carry His radiant light to every corner of your world!
"...Will believing in Lord God truly help His followers?"
Butterfly Sanae carefully watched Miroku approach and quickly sheathed her Nichirin Blade. Then, she glanced cautiously toward the figure of Lord God Himself, who had already returned to reclining on his recliner, snapping his fingers. Thick vines sprouted from beneath the ground, twisting and forming into several brand-new recliners.
She bit her lip, uncertain how to articulate her request.
Or rather, she didn't know whether Lord God would even respond to her hopes and expectations.
After all, her own world was not lacking in temples or statues of deities.
Even the Rock Pillar Hangan Sadamune, one of the most devout monks, never witnessed an almighty god who showed compassion or responded to those who worshipped Him day after day.
"Those who are greedy and lazy, longing only for wealth, will find themselves in greater hardship. Those who are wicked and desire to enslave others will end up trapped in chains. Lord God will hear your story, but whether He chooses to help depends entirely on whether you deserve it."
Miroku's face glowed with a holy smile—pure and warmly gentle.
Turning her head toward Kei Yamanaka again, she continued sweetly.
"Lord God, may I ask for two more chairs? I'd prefer ones that look like hanging baskets, please."
No sooner had her words faded than thick vines emerged from beneath Miroku's feet, rapidly shaping themselves into two refined, leaf-adorned hanging basket chairs that looked incredibly comfortable.
"Thank you so much, Lord God."
Miroku beamed with a radiant blush, she gracefully curtsied with a slight bow toward Kei Yamanaka, then neatly arranged her kimono before sitting down in one of the hanging chairs.
"T-Thank you, Lord God."
Butterfly Sanae looked at Miroku, already seated, her eyes wide with astonishment. She hurriedly followed suit and offered her thanks.
Wait… huh?
Is *your* Lord God really this approachable?
Asking for chairs was one thing—but specifying their style and type?
And the Lord God actually *granted* the request?
Even if you are a fully ordained shrine maiden—"this morning's blessing" and "crowned two days ago"—having fully dedicated yourself to the divine, serving as His vessel and delivering His determination... this still feels rather...
Butterfly Sanae gulped nervously. Her expression carried unease as she cautiously sat down on the hanging chair.
Elsewhere,
Kushina stretched lazily, leaning back in her recliner as she glanced sideways at Tsunade and Dinisha.
Not long ago, when Tsunade approached Dinisha, the latter broke free from the Genjutsu.
And now...
She stopped dwelling on the other woman's injuries and origins, she finally noticed that Dinisha's eyes were, in fact, an extremely rare shade of silver!
They held an indescribable beauty—an oddly enchanting charm in the way her gaze moved.
What beautiful eyes!
"So, during your fight with No.2 Priscilla, you were caught off guard by sudden spatial turbulence, which caused you to lose focus—allowing your opponent to punch straight through your chest?"
Tsunade gave a slightly bewildered look as she turned toward Kei Yamanaka beside her.
"Yes. My heart was torn out… and I took a second devastating blow from that same spatial disruption. When I woke up afterward, I was already here."
A gentle smile still played at the corner of Dinisha's lips.
Though her tone was initially indifferent, there was a faint trace of warmth—an intentional hint of kindness she chose to show.
It was because Tsunade, upon hearing that she had killed several bandits, muttered bitterly, "Good kill!"
The Organization imposed extremely strict rules on the Claymores.
As warriors of the Organization, they absolutely could not harm ordinary humans!
No.2, No.3, and No.4—fellow Claymores who couldn't understand why she'd broken the Organization's orders by killing simple human bandits—even felt she deserved no forgiveness.
The Organization issued a pursuit and elimination order on her.
She had wrestled with inner conflict, doubted herself deeply—but after nearly dying once, she recalled those people again.
And still felt... utterly unforgiving!
"..."
Tsunade turned helplessly toward Kei Yamanaka.
That explained it—how this girl survived despite having almost every internal organ and both legs replaced.
Turns out someone must have blamed themselves and forcefully dragged her back from the Pure Land!
"Hey! It was pure luck she collided with me, okay? Without that unexpected incident, her fate would've been losing her arms first, then her head—to Priscilla, the Awakened One!"
Kei rolled his eyes in irritation.
Dinisha didn't argue but instead revealed concern in her eyes as she flicked toward the Claymore World Portal.
Logically speaking, Priscilla's personality was extremely proud; she shouldn't look down upon harming the weak.
But since awakening...
"Huh~ That thing actually hid behind a rock right at the entrance and ambushed me! That was really close!"
Jiraiya walked through the World Portal carrying Priscilla over one shoulder—a creature with wings on its back and a single horn atop its head.
Right after he stepped out, a shining greatsword came slashing straight for his neck!
If not for recent training alongside his beloved wife, dramatically boosting his strength,
he might have actually fallen to that sneak attack!
Still, this creature possessed surprisingly powerful physical abilities, yet shockingly weak against illusion techniques.
Couldn't even withstand a B-rank Genjutsu before collapsing!
"Strong opponent? Hmm?"
Orochimaru let go of Tongmo and turned his gaze to the severely wounded humanoid monster.
Out of the corner of his eye, however, he noticed a small figure tightly clinging to Jiraiya's robe hem.
About eleven or twelve years old, with a dazed expression.
One hand clutched Jiraiya's robe, while the other strained under the weight of a long-bladed greatsword.
Who—or what—was this?
"Clare!"
Dinisha's silver eyes burned with a fierce, unprecedented intensity as she fought to remain conscious and forced herself up from the ground.
"Dinisha?!"
Clare, gritting her teeth while straining to drag her Claymore, looked up in shock toward the direction of the voice.
Spotting Dinisha still alive, she released Jiraiya's robe and dropped the massive blade, then raced toward her without hesitation.
Even though she staggered and crashed to the ground, she didn't stop for even a moment.
She pushed herself up on all fours and kept going.
Until she threw herself into that familiar embrace, feeling that blazing warmth and faint natural scent, did she finally let out her sobs!
Dinisha gave her everything—hope during despair, and the strength to keep living.
If Dinisha had died...
"Ahhhhh...Waaahhh..."
Clare sobbing against her, Dinisha held her tightly, her expression softening into tenderness as tears streamed freely down her face.
"The twin goddesses, huh?"
Watching the two cling together, Kei Yamanaka smiled slightly, head resting on his arms as he closed his eyes.
Two wounded, lonely souls,
clinging together, finding warmth in each other, saving each other.
Every time he witnessed such scenes, he felt as if his own soul was being healed too.
Of course...
It would've been perfect—except for Jiraiya ruining the moment!
"In pure Taijutsu terms—you're one powerhouse! But you haven't seen my true strength yet, hahaha!"
Jiraiya thumped his chest proudly under his wife's 'adoring' glare.
"Moron."
Orochimaru gestured dismissively toward Tongmo, who also lay unconscious beside them.
"Hai!"
Jiraiya slung Tongmo over his other shoulder and obediently followed Orochimaru from behind.
As for being scolded?
Nonsense!
That was totally flirting!
It was just a term of affection—a wife's sweet endearment!
"Kei, next time something this good comes along, remember to inform me earlier."
Orochimaru greeted the lazily lounging Kei Yamanaka with a wave, swaying his hips with seductive flair.
Then he turned and walked once more toward the portal leading to the Ninja World.
New species and energy systems across two worlds!
Lately, the sheer number of research projects was overwhelming!
Such a blessing to deal with!
"Yeah, yeah."
Kei waved them off, watching Lady Snake and her white-haired pet depart.
He sighed inwardly.
You really are the Snake Auntie, huh!
