Chapter 1 - Ch. 01

That night at Hero Cafe, one of the famous cafes in Ebonvel City.

Brak!

Everyone was startled by the loud, confusing noise coming from the door.

At the entrance, which had just been damaged, seven young men dressed in black stepped in with steady strides, like soldiers ready for battle.

All the people in the room were shocked by the presence of the group, who had distinct identification in the form of logos deliberately affixed to their respective clothing. The symbol clearly belonged to the metropolitan bandit group that called themselves the JAY'X Gang.

The culprits have arrived!

This group was notorious for causing trouble in public places and disturbing the community. But who could stop them?

Let alone a small security unit—even law enforcement officials were often played like toys.

Lars Warner's gang had a frightening appearance. They wore synthetic black jackets, sunglasses, black pants torn in several places, decorated with strange stickers and longish hair—very unpleasant to the eye.

As they barged in, one of them whistled and patted a female server who had intended to greet the guests.

He was Kenzo, a member of Lars Warner's gang.

With his arrogant behavior, Kenzo said, "Hey, beautiful! Quickly serve the best wine or whatever drink you've got here!" His voice was firm and harsh.

'Wine?' The servant was stunned.

"Y-yes, sir!" The female servant nodded with a pale face while glancing nervously at the uninvited guests who went straight to the corner table.

"Don't forget to bring in some beautiful, sexy women to serve us too. Got it?" Kenzo continued while poking the servant girl's cheek flirtatiously.

The servant girl was stunned, unsure of what to say.

"What are you waiting for?" Kenzo shoved her shoulder roughly, making her stagger. "Move it!"

Some of the people who heard him shook their heads. Obviously, this group was intentionally picking a fight by asking for things that weren't offered here.

This shop was just a café serving various types of coffee—not a nightclub or a brothel.

The café staff trembled. "But... we don't offer things like that. There's no liquor or women to entertain customers."

Kenzo's eyes glared. "We don't care. Just do what we say. If not…"

Kenzo touched the servant girl's cheek with a chilling gesture. "Then we won't hesitate to level this place to the ground, all because of a little servant's mistake like you."

Although Kenzo's tone was soft, it was clearly a threat.

The curly-haired young man grinned sarcastically before walking away, leaving behind a trace of fear in the servant girl's heart.

"Okay. We'll try to accommodate your request. Please wait a moment." The girl bowed respectfully and rushed off as quickly as she could.

Kenzo pulled a thin smirk at the corner of his lips, then walked away to join his companions.

"Move!" barked Zane, a man with a firm expression and a muscular build that radiated strength.

The customers at the table quickly fled, afraid to confront Lars Warner's gang.

The café's previously lively atmosphere turned eerily quiet. The staff looked terrified. Some customers stole glances toward the notorious city bandits.

Even so, the servants continued to serve guests with stiff smiles. They didn't want to cause any trouble with this gang.

Behind the bar, a middle-aged man named Luis narrowed his eyes. He had worked at the café for a long time as the head of management, but he did not recognize these strange guests. He decided to observe quietly, wanting to see what they intended to do.

Prang!

One of them deliberately knocked over a glass on the table, sending shards scattering across the café floor.

This person was Nayaka, known for his violent, wild temper.

"Hey! Waiter! Hurry up and clean this table! We don't want to drink where someone else has been!" Nayaka shouted in a rough, hoarse voice. His tone was sharp and aggressive.

The other customers froze, their bodies tense. Many wanted to run out as fast as possible. They even held their breath, afraid to make a sound.

One male servant nervously prepared a new glass while another rushed to get cleaning supplies.

But before the café staff could act, a young man pulled a collapsible stick from under his jacket and slammed it against a glass table in the center of the room with a loud crack.

The shattering noise broke the tension. Everyone jumped in shock. The cellphone in Luis's hand, which he had been using to try and contact the authorities, fell to the floor.

Laughter erupted!

"Ha ha ha ha!"

"Ha ha ha ha!"

"Ha ha ha ha!"

"Let's start the party already!" Zane shouted, raising his fist and kicking the chair in front of him, flipping it over.

Chaos erupted!

In an instant, the atmosphere turned into a war zone. Customers screamed and scattered. Chairs flew, bottles shattered, chandeliers collapsed.

Three of the seven delinquents began to destroy everything in the café—punching walls, kicking speakers. One even climbed onto the DJ's table and overturned the music equipment.

Luis ran from behind the bar, his face flushed red. "Hey, stop!"
