Peering past his defenseless mask, he searched for any hint of a lie in his expression.
Yet, after probing further with more questions, everything Nash said held no loopholes.
Nash even knew the special reward mechanism of the Void Administrator by upgrading their shelter to level 5 in less than a year and a half, which was not a common knowledge.
Half-believing and half-doubting, Zeke decided to let it go for now.
As long as everyone was safe, the details weren't too relevant.
"Here, Instructor Zeke. These are the books you lent me before. I failed to build the library as you asked." Nash said, returning the storage ring containing the books.
"Hmm? No need. Raising the shelter to level 5 before the deadline was more than a mere library could offer. How could I ask for more?" Zeke shook his head.
