-----

The Siberian tundra was no longer silent. It had become a crucible of titans.

The storm above howled like a living thing, black clouds swirling into a vortex as lightning painted the sky crimson.

From the shadows of that storm, Miraluz emerged in full, wings vast enough to blot out the heavens, his scales rippling with energy, his eyes glowing like two suns forged in a furnace.

Below, the MUTO Prime froze mid-thrust, her parasitic tendrils still buried in Godzilla's flesh.

For the first time in years, she felt a sensation unfamiliar to her.

Not anger. Not hunger. But dread.

The Queen hissed low beside her, her armored body crouching instinctively, her mandibles twitching.

The swarm quivered like a black tide, wings folding and unfolding, hundreds of insectoid eyes locked on the behemoth in the storm.

Godzilla lay bleeding on the ice, but when he saw the familiar silhouette, something stirred within him.

Once, he had clashed with Miraluz over dominance.

Once, they had left scars on one another.

But today was different.

Today, he welcomed him.

And Miraluz, in a voice that shook the sky:

"Roarrrrrr!"

The storm split open.

From its heart came thunderous cries, shrieks, and bellows as Miraluz's vanguard descended.

Wings spread wide, the Quetzalcoatlus, Pteranodons, and Dimorphodons dove in formation, their screeches like war horns.

Behind them thundered the footfalls of the ground legions.

Tyrannosaurs and Spinosauruses roared as they surged forward, flanked by Giganotosaurus, Therizinosaurs, and packs of Carnotaurus and Allosaurus.

Swarms of smaller raptors, Velociraptors, Dilophosaurs, and snapping Compsognathus, darted at their heels, their eyes blazing with bloodlust.

The ground shook with the rhythm of their charge.

It was not an army.

It was a living avalanche.

"Ho ho ho!!" they cried, their roars intermingling, a symphony of Jurassic war.

The MUTO Prime raised her head and screamed.

"Gahhhhhh!!"

The reply was immediate.

Hundreds of MUTOs screeched in unison, wings thrumming, mandibles clacking.

The male MUTOs took to the sky, their black wings shimmering with electromagnetic pulses, while the females, towering like steel fortresses, slammed their claws into the tundra and surged forward.

It was an insect swarm against a dinosaur horde.

An apocalypse of fang and claw.

POV: Emma (in the Osprey)

Emma's breath fogged the window as she stared down at the battlefield.

"My God… it's like… like the end of the world."

Miles swallowed.

"No. It's worse. It's the beginning of one."

From their high vantage point, they saw it all, the swarm rising like a storm of locusts, the dinosaurs surging forward like an unstoppable tide.

Lightning slashed across the sky, illuminating the clash about to unfold.

Emma clutched the seat as her voice trembled.

"Miraluz… really came."

The sky exploded.

The male MUTOs shrieked as they collided with Miraluz's aerial legions.

Quetzalcoatlus with wingspans of thirty meters dove like living bombers, slamming into their insectoid foes with bone-crushing force.

Pteranodons slashed with razor-sharp beaks, while Dimorphodons darted in swarms, tearing at wings and eyes.

Black blood rained from the sky as wings tore and bodies spiraled downwards, crashing into the ice below.

But the MUTOs were no less ferocious.

Their claws tore through leathery wings, their mandibles cracked dinosaur bones.

Electromagnetic pulses shimmered across the sky, disorienting the flyers, sending many plummeting.

Screams filled the heavens.

The sky became a storm of falling bodies.

On the ground, the female MUTOs charged like living tanks, their size dwarfing buildings, their claws scything through the snow.

They met the Tyrannosaurs and Spinosauruses head-on, the collision like mountains colliding.

"ROARRRRRR!" a Spinosaurus bellowed, slamming its sail-backed body into a female MUTO, tearing at her armored carapace with crocodilian jaws.

The MUTO shrieked and struck back, claws gouging deep trenches across the dinosaur's hide.

A Therizinosaur, claws long as spears, leapt forward and slashed across a female's face, blinding one of her ruby-red eyes.

She reeled back, screeching in agony.

Raptors swarmed the legs of another, leaping and biting, pulling chunks of flesh from the softer joints.

A Carnotaurus slammed into her side, knocking her off balance.

The female MUTO retaliated with a swipe that sent raptors flying like broken dolls.

The tundra became a slaughterhouse.

------------

POV: Miraluz

From above, he watched the battlefield unfold, storm crackling around him.

He saw the lines clash, saw dinosaurs fall, saw MUTOs swarm.

His wings snapped once, and he dove.

He struck like lightning.

The ground split as he landed, his claws scything through three MUTOs at once, their bodies torn apart in sprays of black ichor.

His tail whipped like a thunderbolt, smashing another half-dozen into the ice, their armor shattering beneath the force.

The MUTO Prime roared back, eyes blazing, her tendrils twitching in challenge.

Miraluz spread his wings and roared so loud the clouds themselves trembled.

The King of Dinosaurs had entered the war.
