While Kalp is going towards library, he sees a girl who's in dirty old torn clothes. She has long pointed ears and long green hair. She is fifteen to twenty years old and has escaped from the slave market. She is crying while running but suddenly she falls on the road. She has so many bruises on her body.
Kalp runs towards her and tries to lift her.
'Hey, are you okay?' Kalp said.
'Please, help me.' The Female slave said crying.
'Okay, first let's go to a safe place.' Kalp said.
Kalp picks her up in his arms and walks into the gap between two buildings. While moving, he hears somebody shouting behind him.
'Hey, you stop there. She is ours.' The guard shouts while moving towards Kalp.
Kalp looks at her. She is so scared.
'Hold me tight.' Kalp says and she hugs him tightly.
Kalp starts running between the buildings through the gap. There are many dustbins, some homeless people are sitting and laying. He is running very fast and that guard is a body builder, heavy, six-feet tall, and has bald head and brown skin. He is wearing a blue shirt and pants. He can't run fast behind kalp because of his heavy body. After a while, Kalp doesn't see guard and then he stops. He puts down her behind the dustbin and takes out a blanket from his beg and gives it to her.
'Sit here, cover yourself with this and wait here for me, okay? I will be back soon.' Kalp said and she affirmed by moving her neck.
After that Kalp leaves.
'Kalp, why…? Why did I help her? Now, I have got myself into a really big trouble.' Kalp thought and got angry at himself and then, he sees that guard is fighting with some other guards for that girl.
'Shit! I hope he has not seen my face.' Kalp thought and silently moved towards her. Kalp feels a little relaxed, but suddenly, a guard calls him.
'Listen.' A guard said and Kalp tries to make himself normal and turns.
'Yes.' Kalp said.
'Have you seen anyone running here taking a girl in his arms?' The guard asked and after hearing this, Kalp feels relaxed.
'Actually yes, I saw someone running, he was so fast, so couldn't saw him properly but I saw him going towards road number 5.' Kalp said.
'Thank you so much.' The guard said and ran towards road number 5 with other guards.
'Before he comes back, I have to shift her from here. But, where?' Kalp thought.
After a while, Kalp picks her up, gives her his jacket and shoes and takes her to his Inn.
She doesn't know where is she going and who is taking her. She is not fully conscious. Kalp makes her lay down on the bed, gives her water and cuts two apples for her with a knife. She eats and drinks too fast.
'She looks like; she doesn't eat anything for a long time.' Kalp thought.
After a while her condition becomes stable. Then she saw Kalp and got scared. She tried to attack Kalp with the knife.
'Wait…..' Kalp says and touches her, grabs her hand and holds her from the back.
'Calm down, I am not your enemy. I am the one who saved you. Okay, now, I am leaving you.' Kalp said and released her.
'Now sit, you need to rest.' Kalp said.
'Thank you for saving me.' The female slave said in a low voice and goes out of the room.
'Where are you going? Do you think you can survive even an hour in this Capital?' Kalp said and she stopped, 'Within an hour the Slave trading company will catch you and put you back in the cage. If you want then you can go.' Kalp said. She comes back and sat on the chair.
'Right choice. So what's your name and where are you from?' Kalp said.
'My name is Calen from Elves kingdom.' Calen said.
'Elves kingdom. So, you got captured from there and brought here.' Kalp said.
'Yes.' Calen said.
'When did they catch you?' Kalp asked.
'It's been four months.' Calen said.
'It's been a long time. So, how did you escape from there?' Kalp asked.
'When they sold me and removed slave contract circle from me to make new contract circle then I released my whole Mana in one spell which I stored for months and ran away from them.' Calen said.
'Okay, take some rest. I will go out and buy some clothes, food and medicines for you.' Kalp said.
'Okay and thank you so much, Sir.' Calen said and he is suspicious that she doesn't know his name yet.
'Hey, call me Kalp.' Kalp said.
'Okay, Kalp.' Calen said.
'Okay. So, you take rest. I am going now and will lock the door from outside.' Kalp said.
'Okay.' Calen says and goes to restroom. Kalp leaves.
After that Kalp goes to get some clothes, medicines and food. He comes back. He opens the door and sees that Calen is waking up and hiding in the bed.
'What happened? What are you doing there? Come out.' Kalp said and sees that Calen is very scared.
'She is looking so scared. I don't know what phase it has through in past few months.' Kalp thought.
Calen comes out and sits on the bed.
'You go and take bath first, here are your clothes and medicine. After taking bath, apply it on your wounds.' Kalp says and Calen goes to the bathroom.
'AA…! Looks like, I'll have to wait a little longer to find out.' Kalp says to himself in low voice while relaxing his body by sitting on chair.
A little later, Calen gets out of washroom in a shirt and pants and sits on the bed and starts eating sandwich.
'So, what are you planning to do after this?' Kalp asked.
'Don't know'. Calen said.
'I mean, do you know anyone here or know your way to home?' Kalp asked.
'No, I don't know anyone here and even my way to home. If I get to Elf kingdom then I can go home.' Calen said
'So, basically, you don't know way to elf kingdom' Kalp said. He takes out the map of Human kingdom and opens it on bed.
'Look, we are here in Capital and there is the Elf kingdom in the west, so you'll have to go from here to there. Of course, you can't use the train and can't stay in any city because you have no identity card and you are an Elf.' Kalp said.
'Okay.' Calen said and listens to him carefully.
'You can stay in villages. Now, we have four problems.' Kalp said.
'Four?' Calen asked.
'First is your look. You have to hide your ears and hair because human hair is not green and sorry to say, but you have to hide your chest too.' Kalp said hesitatingly.
'What?' Calen said in astonishment.
'Don't get me wrong. I said this because of it any pervert man could try to capture you and if they were guards they would not let you off so easily. We will have to cover your face too.' Kalp said.
'So, basically, I have to be a man.' Calen said.
'Looks like I'll have to involve Alice in this.' Kalp said to himself.
'Let me check if Alice came back or not.' said Kalp and goes to Alice room.
Kalp sees the light under the door and knocks on the door.
'Alice, it's me.' Kalp said.
'Wait.' Alice said and after a while she opens the door and Kalp accidentally sees a bloody bandage on the floor.
'What do you want?' Alice said.
'Are you okay?' Kalp asked.
'Ya, I am fine, tell me.' Alice said in hurry.
'Actually, I need your help. Can you come to my room?' Kalp asked and both of them go to Kalp's room.
There, Alice sees Calen.
'What is this, Elf?' Alice said.
