Next few days, Kalp studies about demon beasts, practices in the cube dimension and fights with Samuel. Jack trains himself and practices of magic by the lake and Kevin practices of magic in the training field.
One week before hunting exercise. In the classroom, most of the students are sitting in a group. Kevin and Kalp are sitting together and Alice is sitting alone.
'Kalp, it's looking like everyone has made their groups.' Kevin said.
'Yes, don't worry, Kevin. I am more worried about Alice.' Kalp said.
Just then two students come to Kalp. A boy, he is well-build and has black hair, white skin and looks like Chinese. He is a warrior and his name is Mo. A Girl, she has lean body, brown hair and white skin, and her name is Katrine.
'Kalp, we both want to join your team.' Mo said.
'Yes.' Kevin says but is interrupted by Kalp.
'Wait, Kevin. You know if you team up with us, you will also become the target of many people.' Kalp said.
'Yes, we know that but if we don't join any team, there is a chance that we will have to repeat 1st year again.' Katrine said.
'And about the people, we will think about them later. So, can we join?' Mo said.
'Okay, welcome to our team.' Saying this Kalp shakes his hand.
In the evening, while having dinner in cafeteria Kalp sees that Alice is staring at Robert Luther.
'Alice, meet me after dinner.' Kalp said.
'Why?' Alice asked.
'There is something important.' Kalp said.
After the dinner Alice and Kalp are standing on a bridge near the bird beast ground, where birds are drinking water from the river under the moonlight. Water, grass and plants are shining.
'Beautiful, isn't it?' Kalp said looking at the view.
'Yes… So, what you want to tell me?' Alice said.
'Alice, Nina, is my family friend but you are my first real friend. The way we have done so many dangerous thing together, it was amazing. In starting, you didn't talk much but we became friends instantly.' Kalp said.
'Kalp, what do you want to say, say it clearly.' Alice said.
'Alice, I am seeing you, since you came to the academy, you don't talk and don't even meet. The way you were looking at Robert. I could see so much hatred in your eyes. Has he done something wrong to you? You can tell me.' Kalp said but Alice remains silent.
'It's okay, if you don't want to tell me. Let me know when you feel comfortable.' Saying this Kalp starts leaving from there.
'Have you heard village, named Caldecote?' Alice asked.
'Caldecote…. yeah I heard that name six years ago, that village was attacked by the demon beasts.' Kalp said.
'Yes, that was my village.' Alice said.
'But I heard that…' Kalp said.
'No one survived, right?' Alice said.
'Yeah.' Kalp said.
'I survived because of my elder sister, she helped me to escape, but she was caught and killed.' Alice said.
'By whom?' Kalp asked.
'Luther family, they killed and raped everyone in my village and then blamed on the demon beast.' Alice said.
'On that day, Romulus Luther and his son Robert Luther came to hunt in the forest near our village with his fifty magicians and knight.' Alice said and takes him to flashback.
Flashback -
Romulus Luther had blond hair, long height, he cared for his looks a lot and his age was forty years and Robert was thirteen years old.
After coming back from hunt, Romulus saw a girl. She was village chief's girl and she was twenty years old, she had brown skin, long black hair and her name was Leena.
'Hey you, what's your name?' Romulus asked.
Then village chief came. He is forty years old with brownish scaly skin. He was a knight, his name was Aryan.
'Sir, I am Aryan, chief of this village.' Aryan said fearfully, clutching Leena's hand.
'I didn't ask you, what's your name?' Romulus asked.
'Sir, she is my daughter, Leena. If she offended you, I apologize on behalf of her. You will not see her again. Leena, go to house.' Aryan said and Leena was about to leave but,
'Stop, you are not going anywhere. Do you think I don't understand what you are trying to do? Your daughter is beautiful, you should be proud to know that your daughter will serve me.' Romulus said.
'No, Sir Please I don't want to leave my father alone.' Leena said crying.
'So, is this the only problem?' Romulus said and gave order his soldier to eliminate Aryan.
Soldier killed Aryan. Leena was shocked. Robert started laughing.
'Now, the problem is solved. Soldier, take her into my tent.' Romulus said.
'Dad, I also want some slaves.' Robert said.
'Okay son, do you like anyone?' Romulus said.
'I want those two girls.' Robert pointed his finger towards two ten-years-old girls.
'Okay son. Soldier, also take those two.' Romulus said and they left.
All villagers were very angry, but they couldn't do anything. At night, Robert enjoyed and tortured those kids and killed them in the process. When, Romulus tried to rape Leena, she took knife from fruit basket which was keeping near her and tried to kill him. He dodged, but his eye was cut with that Knife. She tried to run but killed by Romulus's electric magic attack.
'Then in anger he ordered to kill all the villagers and burn the village and then blamed that incident to the demon beasts.' Alice said.
Back to present from flash back.
Alice's eyes filled with tears.
'I am sorry Alice, I make you remember those painful memories.' Kalp said.
'Alice, don't do anything alone, okay. Wait for the right time and always remember, I am there for you.' Kalp said.
'Okay, thank you.' Alice said.
'Okay, let's go. It's already late.' Kalp said and they start leaving.
'Oh, Alice, one more thing, don't hate Jack, he is a good guy and even he hates Robert and his father. After all, they have tried to kill him also. Please, try to be friend with him, for me.' Kalp said.
'Okay, I'll try.' Alice said.
'Thank you Alice.' Kalp said and they leave from there.
