Then, a fleeting, precious opportunity emerged: a momentary lull in the deafening barrage of attacks. Ivan swiftly willed Black Riot to propel him high up into the vast, open sky. Ivan soared away on his loyal sword, ascending swiftly beyond the immediate reach of his assailants' desperate sights.
CLANG! The carrier craft's pilots felt a jarring, violent impact reverberate through the aircraft's sturdy hull, but the colossal vessel miraculously remained airborne.
Ivan had forcefully breached the carrier craft's expansive cabin. Inside, the Unds troops were all seated, a disciplined legion awaiting battle, meticulously caressing their sophisticated, menacing rifles. They were utterly surprised to encounter an unexpected intruder.
"One thousand sword lights!"
Before any of the Unds infantry could react, a tempest of dazzling sword lights pounced on them with merciless fury, tearing them to bloody shreds. Instinctively, the pilots wanted to survey the chaotic situation in the cabin through the internal CCTV footage, but before they could, one of them shrieked. His head exploded in a gruesome display, and hot, crimson blood splattered across the cockpit's interior. The other pilot was instantly paralysed with terror and profound confusion, utterly unable to take any further action. His skull, too, shattered into bloody, grisly fragments.
BOOM! The carrier craft erupted in a cataclysmic inferno of flames.

There was another colossal carrier craft looming ominously on the distant horizon. Ivan had already spotted the formidable aircraft, but its pilots remained blissfully unaware of his stealthy presence. He dashed with incredible speed towards the aircraft and forcefully breached its cabin, confronting yet another unsuspecting band of Unds troopers who were just as unprepared for his sudden appearance. With a mere flick of his powerful will, he unleashed One Thousand Sword Lights, annihilating the troopers in an instant.

But the brutal onslaught was far from over; three formidable Unds were still seated, inexplicably unharmed. Ivan took a few cautious steps closer, inspecting them intently, wondering if he was witnessing a deceptive illusion. In a shocking, unexpected display, one of them brandished an exaggerated, terrifying mini-gun and immediately opened fire on Ivan. Ivan instinctively turned his back against his attacker while simultaneously casting a powerful sword projection that valiantly defended him from the relentless salvo of gunshots.
His honed instincts screamed a dire warning, urging him to move away from the precarious spot he occupied. Without a moment's hesitation, he dived sharply to his right, all the while maintaining the protective sword projection.
A heavy, gleaming axe cleaved down with immense force on the precise spot where he had stood mere seconds ago. The Und with the mini-gun continued to unleash a relentless hail of bullets. Ivan glanced at the formidable object he had narrowly avoided and saw the massive blade of a heavy axe deeply rooted in the aircraft's metallic floor. The axe ominously glowed with a bright, golden light.
"Incoming attack from overhead!" — Ivan's sharp instincts warned him again, and he swiftly raised his left forearm above his head, casting a second, vital sword projection directly overhead. Immediately, a searing beam of 'sunlight' crashed down upon the overhead projection. Ivan discerned that the 'sunlight' was, in fact, a spectral projection of the very heavy axe he had just dodged moments before.
The Und with the mini-gun stepped back, and another imposing Und stepped forward. This Und wore on their upper right wrist a distinctive bracelet that featured an elevated, small square lens; it was a formidable particle beam cannon.
BUZZ! The particle beam violently shattered the sword projection, blasting Ivan forcefully out of the ship and into the open air.
The Und with a minigun turned to the Und wielding the particle beam weapon and asked, "Is he dead?"
The Und with the particle beam weapon confidently replied, "The human is at most at the Bronze Ascendant rank. It wouldn't survive my attack."
Cough. The words of the Und with the particle beam weapon seemed not to fully escape their mouth. Thick, crimson blood gushed out of their mouth. Their interactor's eye dilated upon seeing the horrifying reason for the sudden blood gush; there was a sleek, black sword blade protruding unmistakably from their neck.
"Volcanic Sword Stab!"
The structural integrity of the cabin was instantly shattered by a violent, internal explosion. A second, even more powerful explosion followed, and the entire carrier was blown into countless pieces.
Ivan had gained the crucial inspiration to launch a surprise attack on these special Unds after he discovered their unique, formidable nature. The Volcanic Sword Stab could still be effectively deployed even when the sword was thrown with both hands gripping the hilt. As long as the sword did not roll and maintained a perfectly straight trajectory, the devastating Volcanic Sword Stab would be initiated.
Ivan continuously somersaulted with controlled grace as he fell towards the ground.

He flew effortlessly on his sword and meticulously surveyed the area where he lived; there were no discernible threats remaining. He then flew swiftly to a neighbouring area, eager to ascertain if they required assistance in vanquishing any remaining aliens. There was a profound sense of hate and anger festering in his heart, and it desperately needed to be quelled before he might inadvertently unleash it on someone undeserving of his wrath.
The area where Ivan lived was designated as Section 2.5; it was a sprawling, bustling city. He was now headed towards Section 2.6, another vast urban centre. As he arrived, he witnessed a colossal carrier craft descending menacingly onto a street. The aircraft brutally descended upon a large building, crushing it utterly as it made its destructive landing. The brutal, horrifying sight ignited a fierce, burning fury within Ivan.
Fortunately for Ivan, the sacred river that Merlin_13 had liberated was still flowing, and it coursed directly through Section 2.6. This very river was the potent source of Ivan's extraordinary power at that moment. If not for it, Ivan was not even close to being a base-tier special character, which was the absolute least power level for a special character.
"Burn in hell!" Ivan unleashed a devastating special skill, Ballistic Sword Light.
This powerful attack skill could forcefully push any solid object away from one spot, propelling it to a much farther location where it would then violently explode. At that very moment, the attack propelled the massive carrier craft high into the sky, where it detonated with a thunderous roar.
