Chapter 183 - Chapter 185: The Unknown Young Master

Bulstrode Manor was very large, but there were few people.

In fact, without magic, Sean felt that simply maintaining this manor would probably cost an astronomical amount of money each year.

"Aldrich, did you live here as a child?"

" Yes Young Master, Bulstrode Manor is divided into several areas. The one we are in now is the main area, where the direct bloodline of the Bulstrode family lives. Behind the main mansion, there are other areas, including the training grounds where I lived and studied as a child. The people who live there are children like me or people who have served Bulstrode Manor for many years."

"Let's go take a look over there."

"Yes, Young Master."

The training grounds looked like a small village nestled within the manor's estate. There were many children of all ages, as well as some adult wizards patrolling nearby.

Sean looked at the children. Some were quiet, some were noisy, some were lively, and some were introverted, but none of their faces showed any signs of cowering or fear. A few mischievous children even played pranks on the adult wizards. Some of the adults played along with them, while others scolded them, but none of it was malicious.

Seeing this scene, a smile appeared on Sean's face. The situation here was much better than he had imagined. But on second thought, Sean turned his head and asked Aldrich, "Aldrich, was it like this here when you were a child?"

Nodding, a look of nostalgia appeared on Aldrich's face. He said in a low voice to Sean, "Young Master, although it was somewhat different when I was a child, it was generally very similar. However, our group was probably more mischievous. The level of trouble these children get into is still a bit behind ours."

"You say that with some pride."

"Thank you for the compliment, Young Master."

Bang!

Just as Sean was about to leave with Aldrich, a loud explosion suddenly came from a house in the small village.

The next second, someone rushed out of the house, shouting, "A spell failed inside, causing an explosion! Someone is injured!"

Hearing this, Sean was about to tell Aldrich to call for help but saw Aldrich rush forward himself, quickly entering the house and disappearing from sight.

Seeing Aldrich's actions, Sean also immediately moved. Before others could gather and cause a blockage, he followed Aldrich's direction and ran into the house.

Entering the house, Sean immediately saw Aldrich squatting in front of a child, using a healing spell to stabilize the child's wounds.

Getting closer and carefully examining the child's injuries, Sean found that the child's body looked as if it had been burned by fire. A large part of his body was charred, and on his most severely injured left hand, the bones of his arm were even visible.

"This... was caused by a failed Blasting Curse."

It wasn't exactly a coincidence. In the Potions Club, there had once been a period of discussion about magical injury healing potions. Snape had also given many examples, including injuries caused by the Blasting Curse and cases of injuries caused by a failed Blasting Curse.

Coupled with the "heavy love" Sean later received from his Head of House, reading through related books one by one, Sean recognized the source of this injury at a glance.

Hearing Sean's words, Aldrich, who was familiar with his young master's voice, immediately turned his head and said to Sean, "Young Master, you know this injury?"

"I know it." Sean nodded, then took out his Undetectable Extension Bag from his person, pulled out three potions from inside, and said to Aldrich, "Pour the two transparent ones on the wound, and have him drink the red one. Then immediately send him to the hospital or the manor's medical office. If you're quick enough, his hand can still be saved."

Healing magic wasn't omnipotent. Physical injuries were one thing, but magical injuries were very tricky.

For example, Mad-Eye Moody's eye and leg were injured by magic and could never be restored.

Aldrich naturally knew his young master's abilities in Potions. Although he wasn't a master yet, he was definitely not far off.

Therefore, Aldrich didn't hesitate at all and immediately began to apply the potions to the child in front of him as Sean had instructed.

But at that moment, the adult wizards from the area arrived. Seeing Aldrich squatting in front of a child, pouring an unknown liquid on the injured child's body, they immediately shouted, "Stop!" and instinctively drew their wands, pointing them at Aldrich.

Seeing this, Sean took a step forward, blocking Aldrich's back. He wiped his right hand at his waist, and his wand instantly appeared in his hand, pointing at the later-arriving adult wizards.

"Stop! Aldrich is saving that child. Don't act rashly and disturb him."

"Aldrich?"

"Who? Did he say Aldrich?"

"Aldrich is back?"

Hearing Aldrich's name, the adult wizards immediately lowered their wands and quickly rushed to Aldrich's side. When they saw that the person squatting was indeed Aldrich, a look of excitement appeared on each of their faces, alongside their worry for the child.

At this time, Aldrich finished treating the child's injuries and immediately said to the adult wizards around him, "Quickly take him to the infirmary. This child messed up a Blasting Curse. Tell them they must save his hand."

"Alright, we'll go right away."

Two adult wizards set off together, using a Levitation Charm to carry the child away, rushing toward the infirmary.

Only then did Aldrich look at the others and say with a smile, "Everyone, are you all well?"

"Aldrich, it's really you! We thought you wouldn't be able to come back after being sent away! It seems the master was still reluctant to give you away so easily to that unknown young master!"

As soon as these words were spoken, the smile on Aldrich's face immediately froze.

Why do my friends betray me?

The stiff smile on Aldrich's face also made the person who had just spoken feel that something was wrong. He followed Aldrich's gaze to Sean standing to the side, and a bad premonition suddenly arose in his heart.

Swallowing, the man asked Sean fawningly, "Excuse me, are you...?"

"Me?" Sean pointed to his own nose and said to him with a grin, "Aren't I the one you were just talking about, the unknown young master?"
