The offerings in Diagon Alley could be considered the richest in the British wizarding world.
But even in such a place as Diagon Alley, when Sean purchased Wolfsbane Potion materials, it still took some time, and he had to visit quite a few potion ingredient shops to buy everything. For one particular ingredient, he even had to go to shops on the outskirts of Knockturn Alley and pay about three times the normal price to obtain it. This showed that the materials for Wolfsbane Potion were simply not affordable for ordinary wizards.
Coming out of Diagon Alley, Sean and Aldrich didn't take the family car but instead changed into ordinary civilian clothing. Aldrich put on a long coat, while Sean wore his denim jacket. The two took London public transport to the London suburbs. After getting off, they walked about half a stop and finally arrived at the former abandoned orphanage, which was covered in ivy and occupied a considerable area.
"Aldrich, is this the place?"
"Young master, although this place looks quite run-down on the surface, the interior has been properly arranged, and the children have already started living here.
Also, magic has been set up here. If ordinary people pass by, they'll think of urgent matters and feel compelled to leave immediately, changing their minds about coming to look or entering."
Sean knew this magic. The wizarding world used it when holding events or constructing large buildings. It should be called the Muggle-Repelling Charm.
Aldrich led Sean into the orphanage. As soon as they entered, they saw two adult wizards in a gatehouse-like room by the main entrance. When they saw Aldrich coming in, they immediately smiled and were about to say something, but when they saw Sean following behind Aldrich, they immediately became serious and bowed respectfully to Sean.
"Young Master!"
"Master Sean!"
They already knew about what happened at Bulstrode Manor when Sean had directly confronted Borell to treat that injured child. They were all very grateful to Sean. That injured child, though somewhat reckless, truly had high talent. Everyone said he would become the second Aldrich, so he was naturally well-loved and cared for.
Sean's help at Bulstrode Manor, which allowed the child to keep his hand, created considerable trust in Sean among these people.
Sean didn't reject them calling him "Young Master." Looking at the two adult wizards, Sean nodded and smiled: "No need to be formal. Just do whatever you were doing."
Without saying much more to the people here, Sean had Aldrich directly take him to the laboratory in the orphanage.
As the two went up the stairs, Aldrich pondered for a moment and asked quietly: "Young master, are you sure you don't want to meet the children here?"
Hearing Aldrich's words, Sean shook his head: "There's no need. Since I said I'm leaving this place to you, then I don't need to do unnecessary things here."
"Young master, aren't you afraid that..."
Before Aldrich could finish, Sean waved his hand to interrupt: "Don't say such things. I just want to ask you, Aldrich, would you?"
Would you?
Would I?
Aldrich looked at Sean.
I wouldn't!
With this thought, Aldrich bowed deeply to Sean, then silently opened the laboratory door for him and stood at the entrance, ready to follow Sean's orders at any moment.
Entering the laboratory, Sean familiarized himself with the equipment there before taking out the previously purchased materials and beginning to experimentally brew the Wolfsbane Potion. Of course, in the Wolfsbane Potion that Sean was brewing, one of the ingredients was replaced by a potion he had brewed using six other low-grade materials.
Simply put, he was experimenting with the plan he had previously calculated and deduced.
It must be said that brewing Wolfsbane Potion was truly very difficult. Even with Sean's current Potions level, it was extremely challenging. Relying on his troll-like endurance, he still had to concentrate completely during the brewing, otherwise a cauldron of expensive materials would be completely ruined.
Fortunately, the most troublesome aspect of Wolfsbane Potion, the continuous brewing time of over twenty hours, was something Sean could endure with his troll-like stamina, so it wasn't too big a problem.
Sean brewed for twenty hours, and Aldrich stood outside the door for twenty hours as well. During this time, he ate some food others brought him and drank some water they provided. He clearly understood what it was like to go twenty hours without sleep or rest, which made him admire his young master even more. Not only had Sean gone twenty hours without eating or drinking, but he had been concentrating the entire time on brewing what could be called top-difficulty potions.
"I knew it would work!"
Half an hour later, Sean's cheering voice rang out from the laboratory.
Hearing Sean's voice, Aldrich immediately opened the door and walked in, looking at Sean with admiration: "Congratulations on your successful experiment, young master."
Sean held the Wolfsbane Potion in his hands, showing a very satisfied smile. He immediately put the potion into his Undetectable Extension Charm bag, then said to Aldrich: "Do you have any food or drink? Bring me plenty. I'm starving."
"Yes, young master, please wait a moment."
"Wait, don't bring it here. I'll come with you."
"Alright, young master, please follow me."
Sean followed Aldrich directly to the orphanage's dining hall.
Aldrich knew his young master's appetite, so he quickly had a group of children of various ages help him bring a table full of food and place it in front of Sean.
Looking at the food on the table before him, Sean picked up a large jug of apple juice and gulped it down, filling his stomach, then wielded his knife and fork and began eating large mouthfuls.
One chicken, two chickens, one plate of salad, three plates of salad...
Large amounts of food were sent into Sean's mouth. His troll-like physique gave him a troll-like appetite. When eating three normal meals, Sean just ate a bit more than usual, but now, having been hungry for nearly a day, Sean's terrifying appetite was immediately displayed.
After Sean finished an entire turkey, he sucked on the bone in his hand, finally ending his meal.
"Young master, are you full?"
Patting his stomach and feeling it, Sean nodded: "About eighty percent full, that's enough."
"Oh..."
At these words, the surrounding children immediately let out exclamations of surprise. They had never seen a wizard with such a large appetite. Some children even speculated whether this young master was actually a transformed troll. Why else could he eat so much?!
