While another Sean was learning Arithmancy with some success, this Sean was sitting through Muggle Studies class in complete boredom.
While it wasn't entirely wrong to say that Professor Charity Burbage was one of the wizards most knowledgeable about Muggles, the key issue was that even as one of the most knowledgeable wizards, Professor Burbage's understanding of Muggles wasn't particularly profound. Much of what she taught sounded rather absurd and nonsensical to Sean.
If it weren't for the Time-Turner, Sean would never have signed up for this course. It was truly a waste of time.
Of course, for Blaise, this course was absolutely perfect.
After the morning classes ended, everyone sat in the Great Hall eating lunch.
"Sean, I just saw you go to Arithmancy. How was it?"
Hearing Andy's words, Sean was about to answer when Blaise, sitting beside him, immediately swallowed what was in his mouth and said to Andy: "Arithmancy? Sean was just in Muggle Studies with me. How could he have gone to Arithmancy? You must have seen wrong, Andy."
"Seen wrong?" Andy said with surprise: "How could that be? How could I mistake Sean for someone else? I'm certain Sean went to the Arithmancy classroom, and I even heard that Professor Vector was very impressed with Sean. How could I have been wrong? Besides, even if I was mistaken, if Sean hadn't attended Arithmancy, Professor Vector couldn't have been impressed with him."
This time it was Blaise's turn to be confused. He turned to look at Sean and asked: "Sean, you have the most authority on this matter. What class did you actually attend? Was the person in class with me not you? Was it Polyjuice Potion?"
Looking helplessly at Blaise, Sean sighed: "Alright, Blaise, the person who attended class with you was me."
Just hearing Sean's words, Blaise immediately said to Andy: "Andy, see, I told you the person you saw wasn't Sean!"
As soon as Blaise finished speaking, Sean continued: "The person Andy saw in Arithmancy was also me. I attended both classes."
"Both classes? What kind of joke is that? How could you possibly attend both..."
Blaise stopped mid-sentence. He looked at Sean and said: "I remember you signed up for all five courses, so there would inevitably be schedule conflicts. This morning you also went to see the Head of House. So did the Head of House give you something or cast some magic that allows you to attend multiple classes simultaneously? Could it be some kind of duplication spell?"
"This method or thing needs to be kept secret, so just knowing such a thing exists is enough."
"A thing? So it's an object then? Could it be some kind of magical item?"
"I already said not to ask, and you're still asking."
"Fine, fine, I won't ask anymore. But when you can tell me, remember to let me know what that thing is so I can get one to play with."
The afternoon class was Transfiguration.
Currently, Sean didn't need to attend this class, so while others were in class, he went to a bathroom, took out his Time-Turner, and gently rotated the hourglass in the middle.
Turning it four times, Sean returned before nine o'clock. He took his Arithmancy books to the classroom and found a random seat.
Just as Sean was sitting in the Arithmancy classroom, another Sean went to the library, taking his books and calculation tools to find an inconspicuous corner seat, continuing his research on the second material substitute for Wolfsbane Potion.
This was Sean's true purpose for signing up for five electives and obtaining the Time-Turner.
After a day passed, during curfew, Sean sat in his room, consecutively drank three mental recovery potions, then turned the Time-Turner again, returning to nine o'clock that morning. He left his room and went directly to the library to begin researching the second material substitute for Wolfsbane Potion.
On just the first day of having the Time-Turner, Sean maximized its utility.
The second day: Divination class.
Sean and Blaise came to the North Tower, which was both Professor Sybill Trelawney's residence and where she taught her classes.
Sean had some understanding of Professor Trelawney.
She did have prophetic abilities, but successful predictions were extremely rare. Each prediction basically involved catastrophic events, which was why Trelawney had such a fondness for disasters. It made her feel that her predictions were correct and successful.
Sean and Blaise climbed the long spiral staircase and arrived at a small platform where many people were already standing, including Harry and Ron.
Sean greeted them, and just then, a silver ladder descended from above. The group climbed up the silver ladder into a strange classroom.
This classroom was like a cross between an attic and a tea shop, containing at least twenty small round tables crammed together, surrounded by chintz armchairs and bulging little poufs. No matter how you looked at it, this place resembled a venue for pyramid schemes and feudal superstition.
Sean and Blaise found a place to sit and casually looked around at the various divination items on the shelves. Tarot cards, crystal balls, tea leaves, and so on.
Just then, a soft, vague voice suddenly spoke.
"Welcome, I can finally see you in the physical world. How wonderful."
Sean looked at Trelawney. She looked like a giant insect. Very thin, with large glasses that magnified her eyes to resemble compound eyes. She wore a thin, transparent shawl covered with glittering sequins, along with various chains of beads. Her hands and arms were adorned with numerous rings and bracelets, making her look no different from a Gypsy fortune-teller among Muggles.
"Please sit down, my children. Welcome to Divination class. You probably haven't seen me before, because the noisy campus environment clouds my Inner Eye. Only in a place like this tower can I maintain my Inner Eye and ensure accurate divination results."
Listening to this professor's words, Sean sighed helplessly.
The wizards of this world were much more powerful than those Sean had seen in his previous life. He had thought this world's Professor Trelawney might have some real abilities, but it seemed that most of the time, she was still just a fraud who knew nothing!
