Chapter 203 - Chapter 205: Delivering Medicine

"Sean, where are you planning to go?"

"I'm planning to go to the Head of House's office. Do you want to come with me?"

Hearing that Sean was going to Snape's office, Blaise's face immediately showed refusal. He quickly shook his head and said: "I need to submit the Hogsmeade application form in a bit. I'm planning to go with Andy, so I won't accompany you to the Head of House's office."

"The Head of House isn't that scary, is he? You're a Slytherin!"

Looking at Sean with disdain, Blaise said: "That's because you're different from us. You're a genius in Potions and a student the Head of House values. His attitude toward you is naturally different from ours."

"But the Head of House often mocks me too. There's no difference."

"I'm not going anyway. Go by yourself."

Laughing heartily, Sean stopped bickering with Blaise and turned toward Snape's office.

Walking into Snape's office, Sean immediately saw Snape brewing a potion. Approaching him, Sean sniffed the potion's scent, raised an eyebrow slightly, and asked Snape: "Professor, is this a Wolfsbane Potion using the two substitute materials?"

Nodding, Snape replied: "That's right, it's made using your two substitute materials. It just so happens someone can test its efficacy this time. Theory alone without practice makes thesis writing too abstract. With practice and data, there will be more theoretical foundation when writing the thesis."

"That test subject... after all, at Hogwarts, if something goes wrong, won't it be a problem?"

Hearing this, Snape glanced at Sean, then looked back at the cauldron in front of him. While brewing the potion inside, he said: "You know who the Wolfsbane Potion is being brewed for?"

"It's not hard to guess."

"So you should also know that if the Wolfsbane Potion has problems and he goes mad at Hogwarts, I'd have good reason to properly discipline him and then send him to Azkaban to keep his friends company..." Having said this, Snape suddenly remembered something, showing a mocking smile: "Of course, I almost forgot. Even if he went to Azkaban, he wouldn't be able to see his friend now."

"So... Professor Lupin's friend is that Azkaban escapee, Sirius Black?"

When Sean spoke this name, Snape's face showed even more obvious hatred than when he saw Lupin. He didn't continue speaking and concentrated on brewing the potion.

Seeing Snape's reaction, Sean sighed inwardly.

Relatively speaking, Lupin was still tolerable to Snape. In the events of the past, Lupin could probably only be considered an accomplice, while the real culprits were probably Harry's father, James, and Sirius. So even though James was already dead and Harry was the child of Lily, the only person Snape loved, he still couldn't help but transfer his anger to the boy.

As for Sirius, it would have been fine if he had stayed in Azkaban, but now that he had escaped, Snape's anger and hatred toward Sirius had returned with a vengeance.

"Alright, since you're here, you can take this to Lupin."

Looking at the potion in the bottle, Sean picked it up and observed it briefly. Confirming that this Wolfsbane Potion using two substitute materials had no major problems in smell or color and should be usable, Sean put it away.

Seeing Sean's actions, Snape didn't say anything. He simply tidied up the things in his office and said to Sean: "Initially, I just wanted to brew enough Wolfsbane Potion at once until Lupin rolled out of Hogwarts or had to leave due to the Defense Against the Dark Arts curse.

But now with your thesis, I've changed my mind. With such a good test subject available, he can be used to try your new Wolfsbane Potion. It can be considered Lupin's contribution to your thesis."

Having said so much today, he had already exceeded Snape's daily speaking limit, so he quickly lost the desire to converse and simply waved his hand at Sean.

Seeing Snape wave, Sean immediately moved, taking the Wolfsbane Potion for Lupin and efficiently rolling out of Snape's office.

Having obtained the Wolfsbane Potion for Lupin, Sean immediately went to Lupin's office.

Knocking on the door and hearing Lupin's gentle voice from inside inviting him in, Sean immediately opened the door and walked in.

Seeing it was Sean who entered, Lupin's face clearly showed surprise, but he quickly controlled his expression and smiled at Sean: "Sean, I have to say, I didn't expect you to come looking for me, so I wonder if there's anything I can help you with?"

"Professor Lupin, I'm here to deliver medicine to you. I just went to Professor Snape's office, and he had just finished brewing some potions and asked me to bring them to you."

Hearing this, Lupin's expression changed slightly, but he maintained his smile and said to Sean: "Please tell Severus that I'm truly grateful for his help. I'm not good at Potions, and due to some physical reasons, I must take a very difficult potion, so I can only trouble Severus.

I have to say, having a colleague like Severus at work is really wonderful, isn't it?"

Taking out the Wolfsbane Potion, Sean placed it on Lupin's desk.

"Professor, this is the potion Professor Snape asked me to deliver."

Reaching out to take it, Lupin said to Sean: "Thank you, Sean. Although you don't have anything you want me to help with this time, if you have anything you'd like my assistance with in the future, feel free to come find me.

After all, I am your Defense Against the Dark Arts professor."

Nodding, Sean prepared to turn and leave.

But just then, Sean suddenly turned back to look at Lupin: "Professor Lupin, I'd like to ask if you know how to use the Patronus Charm?"

Hearing this, Lupin was stunned for a moment, then nodded with a smile: "Of course, I can use the Patronus Charm."

"Then could you teach me?"

"Why?"

"What happened to Harry on the Hogwarts Express, and the Dementors stationed at Hogwarts, makes me very uneasy. I don't want to be without any means to resist them. I don't like having no resistance against unsafe factors hiding nearby."

Lupin slowly nodded. He looked at Sean seriously and said: "I understand. So, are you available on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings each week?"

"Sorry, Professor. I have Potions Club on Monday and Wednesday evenings, and Transfiguration's Fir Club on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Do you have time on Friday and Saturday evenings?"

This time Lupin was truly stunned for a moment, then slowly nodded: "Yes, then Friday and Saturday evenings at seven o'clock, we'll study the Patronus Charm, one hour each day. Is that alright?"

"Yes, thank you very much, Professor Lupin."
