Joy's POV
After sleeping peacefully through the night,
Joy woke uplike she'd slept
for years! I went to the bathroom, washed
my teeth, bathed and got dressed up.
Then I went downstairs and had breakfast.
We all had crustless bread stuffed with
sunny side up eggs with Orange
Juice.
While eating dinner Tom and Rachel
come over with cold-
"Oh, Mary!"
"OH, hi."
"Sorry to disturb but can Gold stay
with you guys today"
"Sure"
"We have an event and you're the only
folks we know around here"
"I'll she feel at home" Mum
said bringing her inside - she looked at
the house and then came to sit next to
me .
"Hi" I said to her.
Hi, she said smiling...
"I'm Joy what's your name?" I asked.
"Nice to meet you!" she replied.
We talked for a while in the living room and then went up to my room. She walked around my room and then sat on my bed.
"Do you know Aaron?" she asked in a shy manner.
"Yea, Aaron," I answered.
"Does he have a girlfriend?" she asked.
"No, I don't think so," I answered.
She kept talking about Aaron and his sister and I got kinda jealous (I admit) and snapped.
"Do you like him??" I yelled. She was too shocked to answer.
"Sorry, do you like him?" I said in a softer tone.
"No but I guess you do," she said teasingly. I was too red I couldn't say anything.
"I don't like him, but I think I kinda like his sister." She said lowering her head. Shocked, I said "You're lesbian?" She remained silent and tilted her head. "Oh,I've never had a lesbian friend before." I said excitedly.
"We're friends," She said shocked but happy.
"Yes, of course we are." I said to her. She sprung up and hugged me saying, "I've never had a friend that didn't complain about me being lesbian." She said
"I'll always support us." I said to make her feel better. She told me about Ella and how she liked her so much but didn't know how to tell her. We talked and talked for hours until dinner came. While eating her parents came and she left. I felt relieved and happy. I had made a new friend. Sorry, a special lesbian friend
