"This is all your plan, isn't it?" Gamma asked, and I shook my head in the negative. My plan was to get my father to grant permission for the healing ritual on Avira, not to get Dylan killed.
Gamma smiled widely just then, and I thought of smacking him on the face. Does he not know how bad this whole thing is? Did he not see how heartbroken my father was?
Gamma stopped smiling just then, and continued to bring out items from the box. When he was done, he straightened up, and walked to the side of the bed where Dylan was.
"You can wake up now," he whispered, and my doubts were instantly clarified. Gamma has gone crazy.
But Dylan slowly opened his eyes and climbed out of bed with a big smile across his face while I watched him with my mouth agape.
I saw him die! I felt his body growing cold!
His eyes were fixed on Avira on the bed, and I felt my jealousy returning at that moment.
