[Avira]
I wiped off the tears from my eyes when I heard the knock on my bedroom door. It wasn't Mira. Mira wouldn't knock as though I owed her.
Happy to leave Declan's presence, I hurried towards the door, and pulled it open. I frowned at the sight before me.
Nanisca stood in front of my door, rubbing against her protruding stomach with the arrogance of a fruitful mate towards a barren woman. Only I wasn't barren. I just haven't consummated my marriage yet, and didn't think I will anytime soon.
"I want to see my mate. I was told he's in here with you." She said, and I raised my eyebrows at her audacity.
Her mate indeed!
I stood transfixed by the door, contemplating between having her and her bastard banished or executed, but she attempted to get in by pushing past me which was more than a slap to my face.
"Get this bitch out of here,' I called to the men who were standing guard in the hallway, probably waiting to hear the word.
