Chapter 16 - Chapter 13 Exploring new paths

"Tern, come off the cart and eat over here by the fire." said Nil.

"What?" my head came up. "Oh yea food thanks." I slumped over to the fire and filled a bowl of marnell stew, a traditional gnomish livestock animal.

"Tern I have a question." Fizzwick said.

"Yea what is that?" I said without really paying attention.

"What does the looter skill do that the monster harvest skill does not? Like what makes it an upgrade?"

"Well I am not sure exactly but I feel that is a stronger version." I said.

"Tern You remember that you have the appraisal skill so use it on yourself." Nil said.

"Oh…Yes, that is something that I totally did not forget that I could do."

Looter

Will create legal coinage backed by the goddess will have the face of a random god or goddess though mainly the face of the goddess of luck and never the god of undeath because that guy sucks.

I read the description of Fizzwick and Nil. "Does your appraisal skill always describe things like that?"

"Yes I normally only say the important parts though. But that part about producing coins is very good."

"How many coins per monster?" Fizzwick asked.

"Well I think for that troll earlier I would have gotten 180 to 200 copper pieces." I said.

"Nice. You will make a lot of money with that" Nil said.

"No Nil we will make a lot of money with this skill."

Nil smiled. We all shared a hot meal in silence under the stars.
