"It's a pity. If it were a Dragon-type plate, that would be great. Even a Flying-type one would be acceptable."

Jiang Chen, with a regretful expression, stored the Mysterious Plate in the system space.

The system came with its own storage space, and the space was infinitely large, but unfortunately, it couldn't store living creatures.

Currently, Jiang Chen only had one Dragonite. Dragonite was a Dragon/Flying-type Pokémon, so the Psychic-type plate was useless to it.

"Looks like I need to get a Psychic-type Pokémon."

There were many Psychic-type Legendary Pokémon, but Jiang Chen didn't dare to think about Legendary Pokémon for now.

Besides Legendary Pokémon, there was the pseudo-legendary Metagross, which was Steel/Psychic-type.

The difficulty of obtaining this was also very high. Pseudo-legendaries weren't that easy to get. Jiang Chen's father only had two pseudo-legendaries in his hands: Dragonite and Salamence.

"Relatively easier to obtain Psychic-type Pokémon seem to be only Alakazam, Espeon, Slowbro, and Mr. Mime."

Shaking his head, Jiang Chen continued to study the system's functions.

The system had a shop where anything related to Pokémon could be bought.

Even Legendary Pokémon could be bought, but the price... First-tier legendaries cost between one billion and five billion points, and Arceus with all its plates cost twenty-seven billion points.

Checking it out, a single plate was actually worth one billion points. Jiang Chen almost wanted to sell the Mysterious Plate and buy a first-tier legendary.

Plates were good things, but only Arceus could truly unleash their power. In Jiang Chen's hands, a plate only had a small auxiliary effect. A first-tier legendary would definitely be better than a plate.

The items in the shop indeed made Jiang Chen envious. Not to mention those Legendary Pokémon, even the pseudo-legendaries were enough to make Jiang Chen drool. But even buying a Pokémon egg wasn't cheap.

"System, how do I obtain points?"

[Raising a Pokémon's strength and engaging in Pokémon battles can both earn point rewards. Additionally, signing in and completing missions can also grant points!]

Besides the shop, the system also had a sign-in function.

He could sign in every day. Signing in for a full week, a month, or a year could also grant sign-in gift packs.

Further down the line, there were gift packs for signing in for ten years, but those were too far off for Jiang Chen.

"System, sign in."

[Ding, first-time sign-in, reward increased by 100 times. Congratulations to the host for explosive luck, obtaining: one Shiny Ralts Pokémon Egg, 10,000 points!]

A Pokémon egg appeared in Jiang Chen's hand. Fortunately, Jiang Chen caught it firmly, nearly dropping it on the ground.

"Ralts, a Psychic-type loli's Pokémon egg?"

A hint of pleasant surprise flashed in his eyes. Ralts were very rare, their rarity second only to pseudo-legendaries.

Certain otaku were very fond of Ralts. Although Jiang Chen didn't have any lewd thoughts, Ralts was also one of his relatively favorite Pokémon.

He had just been thinking about getting a Psychic-type Pokémon, and here it was. Moreover, Ralts was also Fairy-type.

Currently, the Fairy-type had not yet been discovered in this world, but Fairy-type was very effective against Dragon-type. Dragon-type had always been the most popular Pokémon because Dragon-types were generally powerful.

However, Fairy-type was immune to Dragon-type moves, meaning Dragon-type moves were completely useless against Fairy-types.

Gently stroking the Pokémon egg in his hand, Jiang Chen found an incubator at home and placed the egg inside.

"I wonder how long it will take to hatch."

Jiang Chen temporarily placed the incubator on the desk in his room and then went out into the yard.

"Come out, Dragonite."

He released Dragonite, and then Jiang Chen used the Eye of Detection.

[Dragonite]

Gender: Female

Strength: Pseudo Elite Four, ninth rank

Talent Potential: Champion

Type: Dragon, Flying

Ability: Multiscale

Moves: Dragon Pulse, Twister, Outrage, Hyper Beam, Hurricane, Mega Punch, Giga Impact...

Reality was not a game. In games, you could only carry four moves, but in reality, there were no such restrictions.

"It actually has Champion potential."

Right, its father was Champion-level in strength, and its mother was Elite Four, ninth rank. It was normal for it to have such potential.

This Dragonite was hatched from an egg produced by Jiang Chen's father Jiang Yuan's Dragonite and his mother Xie Yulan's Dragonite. His mother also had a Dragonite, which was said to have been a love token given to his mother by his father back then.

Pokémon strength levels were divided into: Ordinary, Elite, Pseudo Elite Four, Elite Four, Champion, Third-Tier Legendary, Second-Tier Legendary, First-Tier Legendary, and Creator God.

Excluding unknown Legendary Pokémon, each level was divided into nine ranks. Jiang Chen had been training this Dragonite for three years, and it was already infinitely close to Elite Four strength.

Unfortunately, it was stuck at the final step, and it was unknown when it would reach Elite Four level.

"Mii~!"

Dragonite called out to Jiang Chen, its eyes curving, looking very gentle.

Its personality was just like its appearance: kind, gentle, and simple. Looking at its appearance alone, who could imagine that something so cute on the outside could be so strong?

If you put a Charizard and a Dragonite together, someone who didn't know both Pokémon and judged purely by appearance would definitely think Charizard was more ferocious.

In terms of personality, Charizard was indeed more ferocious, but in terms of strength, Dragonite was much more ferocious than Charizard.

Unless Charizard Mega Evolved. However, Mega Evolution had not yet been discovered. Perhaps Mega Stones hadn't been found yet, or perhaps Mega Stones simply didn't exist in this world.

Jiang Chen's system shop did have them, but the price was a bit steep. One Mega Stone cost one million points, and to use it, you also needed a Key Stone, which also cost one million points.

Jiang Chen stroked Dragonite's belly. Dragonite affectionately lowered its head and nuzzled Jiang Chen with its head.

"From now on, you don't have to stay at home anymore. You can come to school with me."

Previously, even if he owned a Pokémon in advance, he couldn't bring it to school.

"Mii-wu~!"

Dragonite squinted its eyes happily, its small pair of wings flapping slightly.

Don't be fooled by how Dragonite's wings seemed disproportionate to its body; when it came to flying speed, few could match Dragonite.

Suddenly, Dragonite raised its head, stretched out its hand, and pointed at the sky. Jiang Chen followed Dragonite's chubby little hand and looked up.

A dark shadow appeared on the horizon and soon landed in the yard. A man jumped down from a Dragonite. This Dragonite was clearly much larger than Jiang Chen's Dragonite.

Jiang Chen's Dragonite was about two point three meters tall, while that Dragonite was nearly three meters tall.

"The Flying-type Elite Four member is back," Jiang Chen said teasingly with a chuckle.

"You brat, I'm a Dragon-type Elite Four member."

Jiang Yuan glared at Jiang Chen irritably.

"Then, among your main Pokémon, are there more Flying-types or Dragon-types?"

Similar to a certain Dragon Master in Pokémon, Jiang Yuan also had more Flying-types than Dragon-types in his possession, because Dragon-type Pokémon were relatively difficult to obtain, and if their potential was too poor, they wouldn't be worthy of being Jiang Yuan's main Pokémon.

Jiang Yuan irritably raised his hand to knock him.

"You resort to violence when you can't win an argument, huh? Be careful, I'll tell Mom," Jiang Chen threatened, taking two steps back.

"Hmph, you think I'm afraid?"

Although he was henpecked, he had to be a bit tougher in front of his son.
