Chapter 225 - Chapter 225: If the Millelith Had Arrived Any Later, the Thugs’ Lives Would’ve Been in Danger…

In Guinaifen's livestream,

the moment she saw the book's title, Little Gui couldn't hold it together.

"Pfft—hahaha, this has to be from Mu Yang, right? Liyue Harbor Life Hacks—what a genius name, hahaha!"

[Reasonable. The big Adeptus bird lives on the mountain, so it could only be from Mu Yang.]

[I've got a BGM playing in my head. Anyone got a clue?]

[Today, Editor Mu Yang brings you a little trick…]

[Shenhe, my darling, is too cute, flipping through her Master's book on the spot, hahaha!]

— — — — — —

On Teyvat's side,

seeing the woman ignore him and start flipping through her book, Scarred Liu's anger flared, and he slapped the book out of her hands.

"I told you to hand over money! What's with the lousy book?"

Scarred Liu rambled on, explaining how he deduced the white-haired woman was wealthy.

In Liyue Harbor, she'd gone to Xinyue Kiosk, Liuli Pavilion, and Wanmin Hall, ordering every signature dish.

But she only took one bite of each—wasn't that something only a rich noble lady would do?

Shenhe ignored him, walking straight into the pond to retrieve her book.

She turned, glaring at Scarred Liu with murderous intent in her eyes.

Stepping out of the pond, she immediately summoned several talismans, ready to act.

[Oh boy, someone's done for.]

[Get ready to freeze those hands!]

Scarred Liu was still talking, but his lackey tugged at his arm. "B-Boss, something's off about her!"

"What's there to fear? This is Liyue Harbor, a place of law and order!" Scarred Liu wasn't fazed.

"We're just selling intel—not breaking the law. If she makes a move, we'll sue her into bankruptcy!"

The two were brazen, completely unafraid.

Just then, Lumine's voice came from behind. "It's them, forcing a sale right here."

"Oh, it's you two again." It was the voice of the Millelith.

Lumine and Paimon had brought Millelith soldiers with them.

Seeing the Millelith, Scarred Liu's arrogance deflated significantly.

But he didn't back down, still mouthing off at Lumine.

The Millelith brandished their weapons, and he instantly shut up. The two were apprehended.

Lumine approached, concerned, asking Shenhe if she was okay.

"Don't worry, it's fine now."

At first, the woman didn't respond, focusing instead on tidying the book that had been knocked away.

Somehow, she used a technique to dry it.

Only then did she look at Lumine and say two words: "Shenhe."

Lumine didn't catch on at first. "Shenhe?"

"My name."

"Oh, your name! I'm Lumine, and this is Paimon."

Shenhe nodded. "I know you. You're friends of my Master. Thank you for helping me out."

"Master?" Lumine thought back, recalling she'd heard the name before.

"You're Cloud Retainer and Mu Yang's disciple, Shenhe?"

Paimon remembered too. The first time they visited Mt. Aocang, Cloud Retainer had mentioned

that Shenhe missed Master Mu Yang dearly.

Her aura was almost identical to Mu Yang's.

"Have you read Master's book too?"

Lumine asked why she said that.

Shenhe answered expressionlessly,

"Because the book says, in situations like just now, you shouldn't do what you'd normally do—smash their heads into the ground three times—but instead go find the Millelith."

"This method—Master Mu Yang told you too, right?"

[??? Darling, what are you saying?]

["Like usual" "Smash three times"]

[Good thing Mu Yang thought ahead, or this couldn't be streamed!]

Lumine and Paimon exchanged a glance. This Adeptus really lacked some common sense.

Thankfully, Mu Yang had planned ahead and written her a book.

Lumine was sweating. The killing intent she'd sensed earlier wasn't fake.

"Were you just about to…"

Shenhe said, "He knocked away Master's book. I wanted to break his hand, and then…"

"Stop! Don't say any more!" Paimon quickly cut Shenhe off. "Don't use such violent methods! This is Liyue Harbor—you have to follow Liyue's laws!"

Shenhe lowered her head, pondering. "Laws…?"

Lumine was already nervous. "You're not saying you've never heard of laws, are you?"

"No, the book says for law-related matters, find Yanfei."

Shenhe pulled out Liyue Harbor Life Hacks again.

"That guy knocked away Master's book. He can't get off that easily."

[Mu Yang, you taught her well, so well!]

[Yanfei: All evil shall face justice!]

[Three years minimum now!]

Watching the livestream from his office, Mu Yang saw this and felt relieved.

He immediately went to Yanfei's office, explaining the situation in detail.

Yanfei patted her chest, assuring him, "Don't worry, I've got this."

Satisfied, Mu Yang left and headed toward Bubu Pharmacy.

Meanwhile, at Shenhe's side, just as she was about to keep talking,

an untimely sound interrupted—"Gurgle…"

"That sound…"

Shenhe was candid. "It's my stomach. I'm not full."

"You just admitted it so openly…" Paimon was shocked.

"Speaking of which, that guy said you went to restaurants, ordered every dish, but only took one bite each…"

"That's definitely not enough to fill you up! Let's go back to Mu Yang!"

Shenhe declined Paimon's suggestion. "No need to trouble Master. I'll just eat some Qingxin and Glaze Lilies."

Lumine instantly thought of someone—Ganyu ate those too. Was this some Adeptus training?

Since Shenhe insisted on eating those, Lumine didn't argue.

She didn't have much of those items in her inventory, so she led Shenhe a few steps up to Bubu Pharmacy,

ready to let her eat her fill.

On the way, Paimon whispered, "Why would Mu Yang let her eat that stuff?"

"No idea. Maybe it's some kind of training."

Baizhu, hearing footsteps, turned from the counter.

His squinted eyes smiled. "Oh, it's you. Here to see a doctor or pick up medicine?"

"Or perhaps you need something like Everlasting Incense?"

Shenhe stepped forward. "Qingxin, Glaze Lilies, and Glaze Bags—half a pound of each."

The smile on Baizhu's face turned to confusion.

He'd never heard of such a prescription.

Though unsure what was going on, it was the customer's request.

Baizhu brought out the three ingredients and placed them on the table.

"We have enough stock, but… what does this customer plan to…"

Before he could finish, Shenhe started eating the ingredients.

The three people and one snake present had never seen anything like it.

"She's… she's really eating them…"

Under their stunned gazes, Shenhe swept through the ingredients in front of her.

[Is this the price of becoming an Adeptus?]

[No way. Doesn't Mu Yang eat and drink well every day, with top-notch cooking skills?]

[Mu Yang's doing this for a reason…]
