The sky was dark outside the window.
Everyone was asleep. The mansion was quiet. No sound. No movement. Just the faint flicker of a candlelight in the corner and my own shallow breathing.
I sat cross-legged on the bed, leaned back, beside me on the bed were Darcy and Shelly half naked , i stood and went to the balcony then whispered:
"Open System."
With a soft hum, the glowing blue screen appeared in front of me.
But this time, I didn't go to my profile.
Instead, I tapped on the option that said [SHOP].
A quiet click. The entire interface changed.
What appeared was a huge grid of options. Rows and rows of glowing square icons, each with a symbol, name, and price tag in U Tokens. A panel on the left showed categories:
> [Skills]
[Potions]
[Artifacts]
[Mystic Items]
[One-Time Offers]
[Limited Time Discount]
I had 2000 U Tokens left , after getting Rozie and Shelly . Not too much, not too little. Enough to make one or two good decisions.

[Skills Section]
I clicked on Skills first.
The screen filled with different skill cards. Every one of them had glowing borders, showing the type of skill: Combat, Support, or Utility.
I scrolled slowly.
➤ Shadow Blink – 500 U Tokens
"Allows the user to teleport behind the enemy in a blink. Cooldown: 1 minute. Mana: 100."
➤ Ice Thorns – 300 U Tokens
"Shoots sharp ice thorns from the ground within a radius. Weakens enemy speed."
➤ Fear Wave – 600 U Tokens
"Emits a wave of fear in a 10-meter circle. Causes low-level enemies to panic and flee."
➤ Supreme Healing – 1000 U Tokens
"Can heal heavy physical damage, broken bones, even internal injuries. Works on self and all allies within 5 meters. Consumes 400 Mana. Cooldown: 20 minutes."
I stopped at this one.
Supreme Healing.
Just the name gave me goosebumps. Healing was always rare and expensive. But this… this was on another level. I imagined being surrounded by enemies, hurt, bleeding. And suddenly — boom — my body is healed, and my slaves are back to full power.
It was expensive, but worth it.
[Purchased Supreme Healing – 1000 U Tokens deducted.]
The skill slid into my ability bar. Done.

[Potions Section]
I scrolled to the next category.
A whole new list opened up.
➤ Mana Burst Potion – 150 U Tokens
"Increases mana regen by 2x for 10 minutes."
➤ Stamina Surge Drink – 80 U Tokens
"Removes all tiredness. Good for travel and battle."
➤ Temporary Invisibility – 300 U Tokens
"Go invisible for 5 seconds. Movement breaks effect."
➤ Strength Elixir – 500 U Tokens
"Increases physical strength by 3x for 3 minutes."
Then I saw the one that truly caught my eye.
➤ Invincible Draught – 100 U Tokens (LIMITED)
"User becomes immune to all physical and magical attacks for 5 minutes. Body becomes like steel. Can only be used once per day."
My lips curled into a slow grin.
That was cheap for what it offered. Five full minutes of being untouchable. That could turn a fight, even an ambush.
[Purchased Invincible Draught –250 U Tokens deducted.]
I now had 750 tokens left.

Back in My Room
The screen faded slowly. I leaned back against the headboard, breathing deeply.
Supreme Healing.
Invincible Draught.
One skill. One potion. Two game-changing tools.
I had no idea what was coming next. But whatever it was — I'd be ready.
"Let them come," I whispered to myself. "I won't fall."
And outside the window, the wind picked up.
...
Time to go outside
...
Night Hunt
The moon was high. Round and white, like a pearl shining above the world. The mansion was silent behind me. Everyone was asleep.
I stepped into the forest alone.
My goal was simple—hunt a Mana Fox.
They were said to be quick, clever, and more dangerous than they looked. Not strong exactly… but tricky. They stored pure mana inside their bodies, which made them explode in bursts of energy when dying. A mana bomb with fur and fangs.
Perfect prey for training.
I held my upgraded axe in one hand. The edge was sharp, reinforced with copper linings and a slight golden glow. My other hand glowed faintly with blue—fire magic, ready to be summoned.
"Open System," I whispered. The panel appeared. I tapped on the skill bar. Some of my current skills were displayed not all :
> [Inspect] – See the name, level, and talents of any living being.
[Fire Magic – Basic] – Summon fireballs or streams of flame.
[Invisibility] – Become unseen for 10 seconds. Cooldown: 2 minutes. Mana: 50
[Supreme Healing] – Heal self and allies completely. Cooldown: 20 minutes. Mana: 400
[Slave Will] – Passive. 100% success on physical contact.
[Instant Attraction] – Target sees you as irresistible. 2 minutes. Cooldown: 5 minutes. Mana: 100
I wouldn't need the attraction or slave will tonight. This was a solo hunt.

The Forest's Edge
It took me 30 minutes of walking. I crossed the stream, walked past the boulder that looked like a sleeping bear, and finally reached the edge of a misty glade.
There—movement.
A soft shimmer.
Foxes.
There were four of them, small and elegant. Their fur wasn't just red or brown—it shimmered like burning silk, shifting colors with the moonlight. Their eyes were deep blue, like mana crystals.
I activated [Inspect] on the one closest to me.
> [Mana Fox – Level 9]
A magical beast. Stores compressed mana inside its organs. Explodes violently upon death. Known to travel in small packs. Fast and sensitive to heat.
Weakness: Delayed reaction to sound behind them.
Interesting.
I crouched.
Activated [Invisibility].
My body faded. My breath slowed. I moved silently through the trees, circling the foxes.
They sniffed the air but didn't notice.
I crept close to the biggest one—probably the pack leader.
Ten seconds were running out.
I raised my axe—and as Invisibility ended, I slammed it straight down.
SLASH!
The blade landed clean. The fox howled—but it was too late. A white crackle burst from its body.
"Shit—mana overload!"
I leapt back as the fox exploded into glowing embers.
One fox dead. Three startled.
They shrieked and scattered.
I raised my hand and whispered:
> "Burn."
A fireball formed in my palm. Small but burning with intensity.
I tossed it—Boom—it hit the second fox mid-run. Fire engulfed its body. It rolled, screamed, and stopped moving.
The other two were running.
I sprinted after one, axe ready.
It was fast.
But I was faster.
> Agility: 202. Speed: 201.
I caught up.
Another clean slash. It tried to bite, but my axe cut through the jaw and throat.
Three down.
Only one left.
It was climbing a tree—fast and nimble.
I activated Fire Magic again, this time forming a thin stream instead of a ball.
> "Sear."
The flame slithered like a snake and hit the branch.
The fox fell, hit the ground, and tried to run.
Too late.
I stomped on its back. A final chop ended it.

Aftermath
I stood surrounded by dead foxes. The smell of burnt fur filled the air. Mana particles floated around, glowing faintly before vanishing.
Suddenly—a sharp pain in my side.
One of the foxes had clawed me when I was dodging.
A deep gash.
Blood.
I sat down and touched my stomach. "Well, time to test this."
> [Supreme Healing – Activate]
A glow covered me. Warm. Bright. Like sunlight.
The wound closed. Pain vanished.
Gone. Just like that.
I exhaled slowly.
Power was starting to feel… natural.
But I knew better than to be overconfident.
Tonight was a small test.
Soon—I'd be hunting monsters, not foxes.
And not just to train.
But to conquer.
