Seraphina's POV

The guards dragged me down the cold stone staircase with ruthless efficiency. Their grip bruised my arms as they hauled me deeper into darkness. Each step descended further into a nightmare I couldn't wake from.

"Walk faster," one guard growled, shoving me forward when I stumbled.

My legs trembled beneath me. The silver collar around my neck felt like ice against my skin, the silence in my mind where my wolf should be an excruciating void.

The dungeon stretched before us—a long corridor lit by sparse torches that cast eerie shadows on damp stone walls. Iron doors lined both sides, each hiding horrors I couldn't begin to imagine.

"Here," the second guard announced, stopping at a cell near the end.

They unlocked the heavy door and threw me inside. I stumbled, falling hard onto the cold stone floor. Pain shot through my knees and palms.

"Enjoy your new accommodations," one of them sneered before slamming the door shut.
