P.O.V - David.
We sit alone on the bed in my room.
The moonlight piercing through the window.
Her head laid on my shoulder and my hand caressed through her hair.
We sit in silence and then I ask her;
"What kind of poison did you use on the assassin?"
"Ohhh, my dagger always has poison on it." She replies.
"Yhh, as a member of the Dang Clan right?" I say throwing a question.
"Yhhh, though that was not the only poison I used, the poison I used was a paralyzing poison and then through the injury I infused some of my Ki into him.
He should have fallen way earlier but I guess he used his own Ki to suppress it and that is why he was able to last that long." She says.
"Ohhh, I see, that's a little scary." I say.
She heaves a sigh and utters;
"Yhhhhhh."
"Tell me Namgoong Yeong, who really are you?" She says as she slowly gets off my shoulder looking me straight in the eyes.
Her gaze was not harsh.
It was simple and gentle.
I almost wanted to tell her who I really was.
