Chapter 50 - New beginnings

The moon's light bathed the Blue Moon Pack's lands in a soft glow, illuminating the newly rebuilt packhouse. There were still traces of the destruction from the battle—the scorched ground, the broken walls—but it was nothing that couldn't be fixed. Lucien and Callista had worked tirelessly, together with the pack and the witches, to restore everything.

Now, it was time for a new chapter.

Callista stood on the balcony of the packhouse, watching the horizon. The wind swept through her hair, carrying the scent of the forest, the earth, and something else—peace.

"Penny for your thoughts?" Lucien's voice came from behind her, a familiar comfort.

She turned, finding him standing there with that signature soft smile she had come to love. He was no longer the same man who had once been guarded and distant. The bond between them had deepened, strengthened by their struggles, their sacrifices, and their shared victories.

"I was just thinking about how far we've come," Callista said, her eyes reflecting the stars above. "And how much work still lies ahead."

Lucien joined her on the balcony, resting a hand on her shoulder. "We'll face it all together. We've faced the darkness, and now, it's time to welcome the light."

Callista nodded, her heart swelling with a mixture of gratitude and determination. She had become the bridge between two worlds—the witches and the werewolves—and had proven herself more than capable of leading both. But it wasn't just about power anymore. It was about unity, justice, and love.

"We've seen what happens when we fight against each other," Callista said softly. "Now, we need to make sure it never happens again."

Lucien squeezed her shoulder, nodding. "We'll build a world where we don't have to fight. A world where everyone is united."

Her gaze met his, and for a moment, everything else faded. They had defeated Sabrina, stopped the war, and forged an unbreakable bond. But there was more. The world had changed, and Callista had changed with it. She had accepted her destiny—not as a weapon, not as a pawn—but as the key to a better future.

Together, they would make sure it was a future worth fighting for.

"I love you," Callista whispered, her voice thick with emotion.

Lucien's eyes softened as he cupped her face in his hands. "And I love you, more than anything."

They stood there in silence, the weight of their love filling the space between them. It was a new beginning—one they would face side by side, hand in hand.

And for the first time, Callista knew they had finally found their peace.
