KINGDOM OF ALDORIA

Aldoria is a kingdom divided into five duchies, each tied to an elemental essence: Flamecrest (Fire), Tidehaven (Water), Stoneheart (Earth), Skyreach (Wind), and Dawnguard (Light). The kingdom is currently ruled by House Valerian, who seized power 200 years ago from the original Luminar royal line through a forbidden blood ritual.

The capital city, Crownshard, features the Crystal Palace where the royal family resides, the Royal Academy of Knights for training elite defenders, and distinct districts divided by social class. Beyond the capital lie twelve Marquess territories guarding the borders, along with numerous counties and baronies.

Aura System(Swordsmen)

Swordsmen who develop aura can enhance their physical abilities and weapons beyond normal human limits. Not everyone can awaken aura - it emerges naturally in those with potential after rigorous training.

Swordsmen Ranking System

Basic Swordsman - No aura manifestation, relies purely on skill and physical ability

First-Stage Aura Practitioner - Initial aura awakening, can enhance blade sharpness and durability

Second-Stage Force Wielder - Can extend aura beyond blade, enhance physical attributes

Third-Stage Essence Harmonizer - Can infuse elemental properties into attacks

Fourth-Stage Void Breaker - Can create blade projections, affect space around attacks

Fifth-Stage Sword Master - Can manipulate essence directly, extremely rare achievement

Legendary Blade Saint - Mythical rank, none known to exist in current era

Most swordsmen never progress beyond Basic or First-Stage. Reaching Fourth-Stage typically requires 15+ years of dedicated training. In Ethan's previous life, he reached Fourth-Stage after twenty years of service.

DIVINE WEAPONS

Five legendary weapons created before recorded history, each tied to an elemental essence. They vanished during the Valerian usurpation and are rumored to be crucial for maintaining the kingdom's magical balance.

Founded 180 years ago after the usurpation, the Academy trains the kingdom's elite defenders while secretly identifying exceptional talents for royal service and monitoring noble heirs.

Some individuals in Aldoria form bonds with magical creatures. Most commonly found among nobility, these beast companions grow alongside their masters and develop unique abilities. Ethan will eventually bond with Silverfang, a rare shadow wolf with immunity to corruption.
