Chapter 19 - Chapter 19: Kalifa in a Bind, Reluctantly Complying!

Looking at Kalifa's vigilant gaze, Lorn continued.

'Hehe, I know you're very curious about how I know all this.' 'But just as I know your identity and background as a World Government agent, you must already know mine!'

The World Government and the Navy have already issued a wanted notice for me across the entire ocean. Lorn himself knows about it, so Kalifa and the other World Government agents must be aware of it as well. They have probably already received notifications and instructions from the World Government. As far as Lorn is concerned, the agents infiltrating Water 7 have remained inactive until now because they're waiting for the right opportunity.

'From the very beginning… at the first shipyard.'

The Looming Choice

As Lorn spoke, Kalifa's expression grew uneasy. In Kalifa's mind, the Lorn before her was simply unbelievable. How could he know so much? His true identity and every thought had been laid bare.

'Now that I've said all this, it's time for you to make a choice,' he continued. 'Will you continue to resist? Or will you become my subordinate and let me gauge your true strength?'

Rokuya said with a faint smile. His words put immense pressure on Kalifa. Now that everything had been made clear, it was time to make a choice. However, how should Kalifa make a decision at that moment? It was indeed difficult!

Kalifa was well aware of his own strengths. He was no match for Rokuya. Unless Lucci and the others joined forces, victory would be impossible.

After all, Rokuya had escaped from the Deep Sea Prison — he had defeated the Poison King Magellan, the prison's strongest man.

After weighing the pros and cons,

After a moment's thought, Kalifa finally spoke. It seemed as if he had made up his mind, at least on the surface.

'I... I will follow you!' 'I hope Lord Lorn will not reveal my identity for now!' At the same time, I will do my best to hand this ship over to you!'

Kalifa weighed up the pros and cons and ultimately decided to submit to Lorn. She also made a promise, albeit temporarily. Deep down, she was still waiting for Lucci and the others to act together. Since they couldn't win now, temporary submission wasn't a big deal.

However, Lorn wasn't stupid; he could see right through Kalifa's delaying tactics. The longer they stayed, the greater the risks they would face. Therefore, he had to act quickly.

'However... Today is the Water 7 Water Gods Incident, Lord Lorn." 'Plus, the ship needs repairs. It'll take a few more days!'

Kalifa spoke again, her words clearly intended to buy time.

'But don't worry, I'll make sure you're well taken care of while you wait,' she said with a smile.

Kalifa said with a smile.

"Hahaha!" "Are you going to entertain us yourself?" 'If that's the case, I wouldn't mind.'

Rokuya smiled knowingly.

'Of course not.' 'Well, well, well... I'm talking about the various speciality dishes of Water 7.' After all, I've worked in this city for a long time and know these things quite well!"

Kalifa continued.

'I'm not really interested in those things.' 'And...' Since you said you'd follow me, you should prove your sincerity!" How else can I trust you?" After all, you're a World Government agent!' You'll stop at nothing to achieve your goals."

Rokuya stepped closer to Kalifa. As he kept approaching, she couldn't help but step back. After taking a few steps back, however, she had nowhere else to go and collided with the ship's wall.

'Lord Rokuya, please... don't do this!'

Kalifa continued.

"Hahahaha!" 'Don't worry. There's only the two of us on this treasure ship right now. You have nothing to fear."

Ultimate submission!

To avoid any complications, Lorn finally decided to proceed with the initial embrace. He would turn Kalifa into a vampire. In Lorn's eyes, at least, Kalifa's potential and talent still had a lot of room for growth. She had undergone the World Government's brutal training programme from childhood. Her physical abilities far exceeded those of ordinary people, and she had been selected by the World Government as a CP agent, making her exceptional in every way. The World Government always chose the best of the best. Furthermore, once she became a vampire subordinate and obtained vampire physiology, her abilities would be significantly enhanced.

However, there was no need to worry, as Lorn could rely on his bloodline suppression and the Blood Contract to ensure Kalifa's absolute obedience! It won't be like now, where she says one thing but does another.

'Lord Lorn... please be careful!'

Kalifa whispered again. But Lorn wasn't concerned about that at the moment; the ship's destination was almost reached. Once he had turned Kalifa into a vampire subordinate, he could leave this place.

Just as Lorn closed in further, Kalifa suddenly vanished without a trace. She disappeared right before his eyes.

'Hahaha... I knew you were just fooling me. So, do you still choose to oppose me?" 'Unfortunately, you're no match for me!' "Kalifa!"

Lorn was not the least bit surprised by this turn of events. After all, an agent who had been brainwashed by the World Government since childhood wouldn't just turn on him because of a few words. Kalifa, who had created some distance between herself and Lorn, remained silent. She couldn't just stand there after what had just happened — she had never been so humiliated by a man before. But resisting wasn't an option either — she knew she wasn't a match for Lorn. Her mind was in complete chaos.

"Even if I'm not your match. But with the entire ocean out for your head, you can't possibly escape the government's grasp!'

Kalifa also drew her usual weapon: a long whip with spikes. She was ready for battle.

"Hahaha!" "Kalifa." 'You said it yourself — this is the Figarland family's ship.' 'If it's damaged, you'll have a headache too, won't you?'

Rokuya said lightly. However, this made Kalifa pause for a moment. She obediently put away the whip in her hand. As Rokuya had said, if the ship had any problems and the schedule was delayed, she couldn't afford to take responsibility for it. As for Rokuya, he would either be captured or simply leave.

At that moment, Rokuya slowly approached her again, and Kalifa felt utterly helpless. She couldn't leave and she couldn't fight. She knew she couldn't win, and even if she did, she had to be careful not to damage the ship; otherwise, the Celestial Dragons would hold her responsible. She began to regret letting the president take Rokuya on a tour.

Desperately hoping that Lucci and the other agents would arrive quickly to break the deadlock, Kalifa watched as Rokuya approached again.

"Become a member of the vampire family willingly!" "Kalifa!"

Seeing Kalifa before him, unsure of what to do, Lorn gradually exposed his teeth. In an instant, he was standing in front of her.

Kalifa looked at him in panic as Lorn bit down. The vampire's embrace began once again.

Kalifa's pupils contracted sharply and her knees trembled uncontrollably as she began to kneel on the ground. Fortunately, Lorn grabbed her hips with one hand. Kalifa's tightly clenched lips trembled constantly as she whispered as if in a monologue. The sound was intoxicating. Her glasses slipped down her nose and her golden hair fell messily across her face.

The current Kalifa was a stark contrast to her usual meticulous appearance!
