Chapter 30 -  Chapter 30: Sailing to Enies Lobby – Destroy the Hall of Justice!

The phone call was brief.

Kalifa's younger sister, Kalifa, had only called to check on her safety, concerned that she might have been injured.

They were close, especially as comrades who had both trained under the World Government system.

That's why Kalifa had risked making a secret call so late at night.

The call only lasted a minute before Kalifa hung up, afraid of being discovered.

But to Rokuya, this was exactly the opportunity he had been waiting for.

Rescue Kalifa's sister from the clutches of the World Government?

Perfect.

Kalifa, a highly trained CP agent from a young age, would be a valuable addition to his forces.

It would also provide the perfect excuse to flatten Enies Lobby in the process.

'She said she's staying at Enies Lobby tonight, right?' Rokuya asked.

Kalifa nodded. 'Yes. She just returned from a mission and is resting there overnight. She'll be leaving tomorrow."

A minute later, the Crimson King was already adjusting course towards Enies Lobby.

They didn't have a Log Pose set to the island, but they didn't need one — simply following the sea train rails would take them there directly.

"Enies Lobby, huh?"

'Now that Rob Lucci and the rest of the CP9 are gone, the island's top defences are severely weakened.'

'This is our moment.'

Rokuya's grin was cold and calculating.

It was true — the government wouldn't have had time to reinforce Enies Lobby after the annihilation of CP9. They wouldn't expect Rokuya to strike again so soon.

With nightfall providing cover, the timing couldn't be better.

Though Enies Lobby was known as the "Island Without Night" due to its perpetual daylight, that didn't matter.

Their plan was already in motion.

---

'Enies Lobby...'

'I know it like the back of my hand,' said Kalifa, stepping forward with confidence. 'Especially the defence layout.'

'Perfect,' Rokuya replied with a nod.

Perona, Domino and Sadi each gave Kalifa a big thumbs-up in support.

Over the next ten minutes, Kalifa laid out everything she knew, down to the last detail.

- Troop composition;

Guard rotations.

Defensive checkpoints.

Escape routes.

Vulnerabilities.

Her intelligence was precise and valuable. Even though she had never visited Enies Lobby before, Rokuya now had a mental map of it.

'Enies Lobby is connected directly to the World Government's central network,' Kalifa explained. 'There are nearly 10,000 personnel stationed there at all times, including Marines and government staff.'

She went on to list the key units:

Judicial Guards – the elite law enforcement of Enies Lobby.

The Law Dogs – a squad of armed officers who ride giant hounds.

Oimo and Kashii – former members of the Giant Warrior Pirates who are stationed as second gate sentinels.

'Then there's the Chief Judge,' she added.

'And, of course, Spandam, that walking embarrassment. He's probably still on the island."

'As for my sister Kalifa, she didn't say outright, but if she's there, it means CP8 is currently stationed on the island.'

'No other major forces are present right now.'

'But we must act fast. Enies Lobby is close to the Gates of Justice."

Kalifa pointed to the marked location on the map.

'If those gates open, government-controlled currents will allow instant travel to Marineford and Impel Down. That means reinforcements could arrive at either base at any moment."

'We need to strike hard and retreat before that can happen.'

Using the intelligence provided by Kalifa, they spent another ten minutes finalising a detailed assault plan.

Rokuya stood at the helm with his arms crossed and grinned.

'Heh...'

'Five Elders… When you wake up tomorrow morning—'

There's going to be a surprise waiting for you."

This was it — the first true step in Rokuya's grand revenge against the World Government.

Of the three great pillars of government power:

Marine Headquarters

Impel Down

Enies Lobby.

The first two were still beyond his reach... for now.

But Enies Lobby?

That was ripe for the taking.
