"Brother Miles!" Chase's voice rang with excitement as soon as he spotted him.
Every face turned instinctively toward the figure walking up from the maple forest path. Miles, dressed in training gear with a towel draped across his shoulders, looked calm yet commanding, the morning light tracing the sharp lines of his face.
"Chase," Miles said with a faint smile, his voice steady but touched with warmth. "Nice to see you here. How are you doing?"
"All good, brother," Chase answered, barely hiding the grin tugging at his lips. He stepped forward eagerly, then gestured to the three standing beside him. "Meet my friends—Cole, Isabelle, and Sophia."
Miles nodded, his gaze shifting to the group.
"Hello, everyone. Welcome to Star Harbor. Let's go in."
Cole scratched the back of his head and laughed. "Hello, Brother Miles. Chase talks about you a lot."
Miles's lips curved slightly. "Looks like everyone already knows me, then."
