 A few days later.

On this day, Yui had come to school that morning and was talking with a close female friend. They talked about a variety of topics, from what they had seen on TV the day before to their studies and personal matters. However, the topic that came up most often was Yui, who is currently a popular actress. She has even worked with some of her classmates' favorite actors, and as a girl in her impressionable years, she was curious about them.

Even without that, Yui has been called pure and innocent on TV and has even been described as angelic, so she is often looked upon with admiration. People often ask her how she managed to become so beautiful.

Yui was happily talking about such things with her friends as usual, but when she saw Yu coming to school out of the corner of her eye, her smile faltered for just a moment. However, it was only for a moment, so no one who was talking with her noticed.

◇◇◇

"Did you have a fight?"

"picture?"

Yui, who was eating her lunch with Takuya in an empty classroom, was suddenly told this and had no idea what he was talking about.

"Yuu. There's been some awkwardness between the two of you lately, or rather, it felt like there was some distance between you. Is it just my imagination?"

There is no way that she can become friends with the person who called her on a holiday and forced her to give him a blowjob. Because of this, Yui has not had a proper conversation with Yu for the past few days.

"A fight... I guess it was a fight. If anything, I think it would be more accurate to say it was a misunderstanding..."

Regardless of the day he forced her, now that time had passed, Yui felt a stronger desire to make up. There was a risk of him attacking her again, but she had been with him for several years. After Takuya, he was the person she trusted the most, and she had feelings for him. She didn't have enough life experience to be able to just let things slide so easily, and she wasn't cold-hearted. She thought her crisis management was poor, but even so, Yui wanted to go back to the way things were if she could.

"May I ask why?"

"...That's not okay. Not even Takkun, no. Actually, it's because you're Takkun that I don't want to say anything about it."

"I see."

Takuya is suddenly heartbroken by Yui's words.

"Oh, it's not that you're unreliable or anything. I mean, I want to solve this problem myself, or rather, I don't want to tell anyone about it."

"Okay. Then I'll try not to interfere. But if you have any problems, please don't hesitate to let me know. You two are my precious friends, after all."

"friend?"

"As for Yu, of course Yui is not just a friend, she is my precious girlfriend."

He took it to be a figure of speech and grasped it. The reason he looked embarrassed was because he had said something embarrassing.

"Fufu, thank you. I'm happy."

"I knew it and made you say it."

"Because I wanted you to tell me, Takkun."

He had asked back, hoping to feel a little happier after what had happened. For Takuya, it was a small price to pay to see Yui's happy expression, even if he had to feel a little embarrassed.

"Oh, that omelet looks delicious. Want to trade it for this sausage?"

Yui said as she handed over her lunch. Yui had always had the opportunity to cook, and as she did so repeatedly, she gradually became a good cook, and now she enjoys cooking.

I'm usually busy with work so I don't have much time to cook, but when I have free time I make homemade bento like this.

"handmade?"

"Yeah. This is a dish I'm really proud of, so eat up."

They were probably happy to be able to have a meal together in peace like this. Yui picked up a sausage with her chopsticks and stretched her arm out to Takuya, saying "Open your mouth."

"Huh?"

"Look, I'm embarrassed too. Just eat it, Takkun, ahhh."

It's probably every man's dream to have a beautiful girl feed him. And the beautiful girl looks genuinely happy as she reaches out her chopsticks. It's as if she made the dish from the beginning with the intention of having Takuya eat it.

As an actress, she has played the role of a girl in love many times in TV dramas, which means she has smiled at men and spoken sweet lines many times.

Takuya has watched the drama that Yui appears in several times, and Yui's smile now is cuter and more beautiful than any she had in the drama. And it seems that her self-declaration that she was embarrassed was not a lie.

"She did something similar in a drama."

It was a monologue-like mutter, with no intention of letting Yui hear, but it reached her ears.

"That was just an act. Now I'm being honest. It's completely different."

"Sorry, sorry. I didn't mean it like that. Even though we say similar things, I think it's different. It's like a gap. Yui is cute enough in the drama, but now I feel like she's being herself, and I know it's weird for me to say this, but I feel like she's in love."

"Uuuuh! T-that's true! I love you so much, Takkun! ...Come on, see!"

Yui's face turned bright red and to hide her embarrassment she forced a rolled omelet into Takuya's mouth.

"Ngh, nngh... it's delicious. It's delicious, Yui."

Takuya savored the taste carefully, swallowed it, and then said exactly what he was thinking.

"Really? That's good..."

Even though Yui said she was confident in her work, she still had some concerns, so she was relieved to hear those words.

"It's true. It's so delicious I want to eat it every day."

"Well, every day?!"

"Eh? ...Ah, no, that's not it."

It was a casual remark, but seeing how Yui seemed to panic, he realised how she had taken it and hurriedly explained.

"Oh, that's right... I'm sorry, I jumped to conclusions."

Her happy face droops and droops like a withered flower.

"No, but that doesn't mean we don't have those feelings. Although, we're not at that age yet..."

They both blush as they look at each other, occasionally becoming embarrassed and looking away. They repeat this sweet act over and over again.

Then, after what seemed like an eternity had passed, Yui spoke.

"I... well... it's fine. I want to be with you forever. I... think about getting married... or something."

"H! But, you see. Regardless of Yui, I'm still too old for that."

"That means... when I'm old enough, I'll do it?"

"If my parents would allow it, then yes. I want to be with you forever too. In fact, I'd rather be the one to do it."

"happy"

They are both second-year high school students and have only just started dating. Adults may think it is too early for them to talk about something like this, or they may say it is the folly of youth in love with love.

However, neither Takuya nor Yui were joking or saying it out of pure emotion. That's why they were so excited and nervous. And when they found out they both felt the same way, they were overjoyed and indescribable.

"...Let's just eat it quickly."

Unable to bear the cloyingly sweet atmosphere, Takuya began eating with his chopsticks at a faster pace than usual.

"Hehe. That's right. If we take it too slowly, other people might come."

Yui smiles, finding Takuya adorable. After all, the most fun part is just talking to Takuya alone like this, eating lunch, and other normal situations. Because of her job as an actress, Yui doesn't get to do these things every day, so she can easily understand that. Often, the things that are truly important are so close that you can't see them.

"Takkun"

"?"

Yui called his name and Takuya, who was in the middle of chewing, looked at him and asked, "What?"

"Nothing. I just wanted to call you."

What's that supposed to mean? He wondered, but when he saw Yui smiling happily, he didn't care about that at all. Yui's smile was so charming that it drew people's hearts. Takuya had never said it out loud, but he thought that a job where you get to be seen by people, like acting, was Yui's calling.
