Just as she reached the restroom door, that kind of sound reached her ears.
"Benjamin, I love you to death..."
Eva paused in her tracks, looking towards the source of the sound, which continued to fill her ears.
"Alexis, I love you too! I'll only love you in this lifetime."
"Benjamin, you're so good..."
Eva's brows furrowed deeply; it was Isabelle's voice. Could it be that she and Benjamin were inside?!
She was momentarily stunned, taking two steps back.
"Who's there?" Benjamin was very alert. He pulled away from Isabelle and zipped up his pants. Then he took off his suit jacket and wrapped it around Isabelle.
Only then did he open the restroom door and walk out.
"Is it you?" Benjamin was somewhat surprised.
Eva had just been dealing with aunts and uncles in the banquet hall, and she actually barged in here?
Benjamin curled his lips, hugged Isabelle's waist: "Alexis, you go deliver the gift to the old lady first. I'll take care of things here."
