Chapter 14 - Chapter 14 Bad Habit

Early the next morning, Bella Green came downstairs with dark circles under her eyes, wobbly sat at the dining table, still looking a bit sleepy.

When Mason Bennett came downstairs properly dressed, he saw Bella Green, in a wrinkled white T-shirt with hair that looked like messy weeds, sitting at the dining table nodding off, looking like she hadn't woken up yet.

Seeing the man come downstairs, Bella Green looked dazed but spoke righteously: "Mason Bennett, where's my breakfast?"

As soon as she finished speaking, Bella was stunned, looking at the man in a black suit with a stern face. She instantly sobered up, almost slapping herself.

This Mason is not that Mason!

Habits really are not a good thing...

"Haha, hahahaha." Bella Green pulled a silly grin, watching the man with a terrifying stern face step by step towards her.

"Slap..."

A girl's bird nest head got slapped, not gently, causing Bella Green to almost knock her forehead right on the table.

"What's with the memory? Call me brother."

Mason Bennett said sternly, full of authority.

Bella Green covered her head, looking furious, wanting to jump up and give Mason a Pegasus Meteor Fist on his head.

However, reality is...

"Brother..."

That pitiful voice made Mason Bennett's face look a bit better.

"There's no breakfast at my house, if you want to eat, quickly fix your bird nest head, you only have five minutes."

Bella Green ran to the bathroom to tidy up her bird nest head.

She came out right on the five-minute mark.

Mason Bennett looked at her wrinkled clothes, furrowing his brows. Although he wasn't exactly a neat freak, it was hard for him to accept seeing her dressed like that.

He glanced at her, turned around to walk outside, and simultaneously took out his phone to make a call.

"Prepare clothes for a seventeen or eighteen-year-old boy and send them to Jiu De House."

"Size." Mason Bennett stopped walking, glanced at the skinny figure behind him, and casually said, "Smallest size, buy it based on a malnutrition standard."

A certain malnourished seventeen or eighteen-year-old boy: Damn...

...

Jiu De House, a famous private restaurant in Brocade City, even without talking about price, you wouldn't get a seat without booking half a month in advance to eat here.

At this moment, Bella Green unceremoniously followed behind Mason Bennett into Jiu De House.

Hearing someone at the door asking why they came in without a reservation, Bella Green smirked.

This place is owned by Mason Bennett, what's the need for a booking?

In her impression, Mason Bennett seemed pretty picky about food, probably the thing he ate most was the food here.

She has been suspecting that Mason Bennett opened Jiu De House just to satisfy his own cravings.

Entering the private room, the manager walked in with a smile like a chrysanthemum: "Mr. Jiang, you're here."

Mason Bennett nodded slightly, instructing the manager to serve the usual dishes.

Bella Green looked speechless, Mason Bennett's usual dishes were plain medicinal meals and soups.

"I'd like braised pork, pork belly with preserved vegetables, Dongpo pork, two bowls of rice, thank you." Bella Green flashed a sweet smile at the manager.

Mason Bennett stared at the girl's smile, frozen for a moment.

Since yesterday, he had seen her look timid like a little puppy, and seen her get frustrated like a blown-up furball.

Now, it's the first time he's seen her smile like this.

It's... quite nice.

"Don't serve them." Mason Bennett said coldly.

"Then what am I supposed to eat?" Is he expecting her to watch him eat?

"You're not allowed to eat such greasy dishes in the morning. I just ordered."

"You're talking about your monk set meal?" Bella Green looked displeased.

Monk... set meal?

The manager overheard and widened his eyes in shock, looking at Bella Green, who didn't know how perilous her situation was.

Kid's got guts!!
