Bella Green paused her actions, her clear and bright eyes, lacking any warmth, looked at him.
"I don't have the time or energy to hate you all."
After speaking, she wiped his face a couple more times, then tossed the cotton swab into a plastic bag, ready to leave.
Daniel Green stared at her blankly.
He had always thought she hated him, but it turned out that even being hated was a luxury...
"Can you forgive me?"
The boy's murmuring voice sounded.
Bella stood there, looking down at the boy's embarrassed face, her brows slightly furrowed.
Seeing she hadn't immediately left, Daniel suddenly stood up.
"Is that possible?"
Watching his nervous yet hopeful expression, Bella's brows furrowed even deeper.
Finally, she suddenly smiled, a smile with a hint of malice that made Daniel feel uneasy.
"Of course, it is."
Hearing this, Daniel was taken aback, then his heart raced with excitement, just as he was about to speak, the girl spoke again.
