That night, Bella Green didn't sleep well either.
In the morning, Bella got up, washed up, changed clothes, and went downstairs directly.
She thought Mason Bennett would have breakfast ready and waiting for her in the living room.
As she went downstairs, the girl had a bright smile on her face.
Bella ran happily to the dining room, but the table was still covered with yesterday's dishes, not cleaned up.
The kitchen was completely empty too.
Bella looked around but didn't see Mason.
Just as she was about to head upstairs, she heard the doorbell ring.
Bella walked over and opened the door.
There stood Elliot Morris, grinning widely at her with a takeout bag in hand.
"Good morning, Miss Green."
Bella paused for a moment and stepped aside.
"Good morning."
Elliot laughed as he entered the house, taking the bag directly to the dining room.
"Miss Green, hurry and come have breakfast. It's your favorite soup dumplings. After eating, I'll take you to school."
