The clothes from this brand cost at least tens of thousands, possibly hundreds of thousands. How could she let Mrs. Bennett buy such expensive clothes for her?
Joanna Ramsey quickly nodded along, obviously thinking the same way.
"You two girls, are you looking down on this old lady?"
Mrs. Bennett looked at them, her lips suddenly puckering up, looking so aggrieved that both of them were at a loss.
Even though they knew Mrs. Bennett was just pretending, they couldn't help but coax her.
"Joanna, are you stupid? You'd never afford clothes like these even if you worked your whole life. Hurry and go pick something."
Victor Bennett sneered as he spoke.
Joanna, in the midst of appeasing Mrs. Bennett, suddenly changed her expression, feeling both embarrassed and angry.
"Whether I can afford them or not is none of your business!" She glared fiercely at Victor Bennett.
The man was dumbfounded by her anger, somewhat clueless.
