After watching the sunrise, they finally started heading home.
It was almost nine o'clock when they got home.
"Where have you kids been? We got up this morning and didn't see you. Your dad and I were quite startled."
Ye's mother sighed with relief when she saw them return.
"Mom, we went to the temple on the outskirts of town for fun."
Ye Qian yawned as she spoke to Ye's mother.
"Why did you decide to go there? Didn't you sleep all night? I've made breakfast. Eat something before you go to sleep."
Ye's mother hurriedly suggested when she saw how exhausted they were.
"Mom, I'm not eating. I'm going to sleep first."
Ye Qian said and then headed straight to her room.
"Mom, I'm not eating either. Ye Hao, are you going to eat?"
"Mom, we'll eat after we wake up. We're really just too tired."
Gu Yi and Ye Hao didn't have much of an appetite either. They managed to hold on while on the road, but as soon as they got home, they felt overwhelmingly sleepy.
